Updating AOL Gold software
It seems that AOL Gold checks for updates every time I run it. That's fine, but could you enhance the updating process please: 1) If you find that an update is available BUT NOT REQUIRED TO FIX A CRITICAL DEFECT, ask the user whether to update "now" or not. Updating takes a long time and prevents a quick check of email. 2) During an update, display a message or window somewhere indicating an update is in progress. I have sent repeated bug reports and still have no resolution. I have contact support and they keep advising to send a bug report. Why isn't support helping their aol PAYING customers???
I can't switch between new, old and sent mail tabs in aol gold desktop software without very long delays. Most of the time it just freezes. Secondly, all of my sent mail shows TO: before the email address and therefore I can't sort my mail. When is AOL going to respond and fix my issues.

Chat room exploit is causing people not to be able to chat
People are entering chatrooms and then leaving them real quick with abunch of user names which is causing the chatroom to scroll to much in order to read anything that anyone is typing... Please fix this use to happen with aol4.0. See below (this happened in the span of 30 seconds)

I clicked on a story about a family that heard hissing in it's walls. Why did you give me stories about spiders and volcanoes first?
Again there was a long drawn-out story that had nothing to do with the original headline about a family hearing a hissing noise in their walls. News for you, AOL - it's a waste of your time doing that because all I do is scroll through them as quickly as possible until I get to where I should have been in the first place.

Chatroom directly linked with favorite icon in toolbar causes the window not be able to be maximized
Yet if going through the Aol chat list way I am able to maxiumized the chatroom window. sounds like a bug

AOL needs to provide support for HiDPI displays.
I just got a new laptop with a UHD display. The Icons and text are a large enough to be easily read, but they get blurry, if my cursor passes over them. Sometimes if I minimize the application and bring it back to normal, any window the text on the window will become huge and blurry. I have tried adjusting the display options, but no matter what I do, I still have a problem with Icons, text and windows becoming blurry.

Don't allow IQ_research.org on your site
Like many, I did the AOL online IQ test qy iq_research.org.
I willingly paid $2 (or some other very nominal fee) via Paypal. On Aug7 my Paypal account was AGAIN charged, this time $39.95 without MY AUTHORIZATION!. I called them and they reverse charges and promised not to charge me again, but it is in vioation of principle to extract payment without conscous authorization. These guts are sneaky scammers USING AOL to scam folks! -

No "Paste" in Context Menu
Windows 10 computer. Ver 2004. Copy and paste issue. You can copy from outside AOL. However there is NO "paste" word in the context menu when you try to paste into 'what is on your mind' in a Facebook post. Ctrl V works. But, no...'paste' word!! Let me know. Thanks.

EMAIL: Headings not copied when FWDing an email
The body of the email gets copied, But the To: , Cc, & Subject do NOT get into the FWDed email. I sent this as a BUG report if you need anything from those files

AOL Does Not Offer Solutions to Bug or Feedback Reports.
From March 14th and going forward, I have submitted:
- Two Bug reports.
- Two Feedback reports. (One response requested more information, which I supplied.)
- Contacted AOL via phone twice. (They were of no help.)
When can I expect to receive a solution to the reports mentioned in the above contacts?
I use AOL Gold and Windows 10.

Your Welcome Screen shows the bias of AOL or at least the person choosing the subjects
Google does that too as well as Facebook and it's beginning to backlash. You might make your news from either both slants or just print the news and verify what you are sharing.
Too much out there is coming from "sources say" when someone has made it up or taken things out of context. I would love it if AOL were unbiased and just printed the news as it was originally reported in AP or wherever it originated from.

Provide AOL Desktop for macOS Catalina
AOL Desktop Gold needs to add support for macOS Catalina and future releases. The laptop world is not all Windows users. Telling Apple Mac users to "use browser access" is not a good response.

Can't clean Browser History
Why have you changed our going to setting/browser and deleting browser history??? Why do we have to sign off before history is removed. Another ridiculas change to an already faulty program......if it ain't broke why do you keep changing things???
Also why do I need to sign in to send this...obviously I am already online...or is this a way of tracking member who are complaining about the "wonderful" AOL Gold??
