Wrong downloaded AOL Desktop version on May 7.
I just need to give you guys a heads up. I found what happened to my update earlier this month (May).
I got the new version 2658, and as usual, I renamed the desktop icon to AOL Desktop 2658 on May 6.
The next day, May 7, I found another new version of gold, but examining it I found it was the same as the previous version, 2658. Puzzled, I figured that a snafu delivered it again.Wondering today about the status, I went to the BETA web pages and see that 2658 was sent on May 5, and version…

Absolutely right,new GOLD *** major wind. The old AOL program was much more stab;e and user friendly; This GOLD version is not only an embarrassment, but probably ripe candidate for a class-action lawsuit. AOL should stop charging customers for an inferior product that is rife with problems not found in previous versions. AOL? ARE YOU LISTENING? EL **** !

Where are Saved Emails Stored on my PC with Older Versions of AOL Desktop (before AOL Desktop Gold) and transferring those emails to new PC
Go to:
C: Drive / Program Data / AOL 9.8.2 (or another version you may have used)/ organizeIn the Organize folder find the file with:
“your AOL email screen name” with no file extension
Rename that file adding the extension: .pfcIn your current AOL Desktop Gold software. Go to Edit / General Settings / My Data / Import from Older AOL Files / PFC Import
Now search for the .pfc file you just renamed, and import that file
Close and Restart AOL Desktop Gold and Hopefully you will see all of your previously saved folders and AOL emails…

The signature page
The signature page with the AOL Gold Desktop has an issue with my picture being TOO large. I have three other signature pages with pictures and they work fine. Can you fix this

picture editing options
Will you PLEASE fix the picture editing options in email. Except for rare occasions when it's available, there is generally no way to access it. It used to be a simple right click.
This is ridiculous. AOL worked better when it was free. I've been waiting years for you to fix it.... so JUST ]FIX IT before I move my mail to another server and delete the entire app!
