Yellow app icon???
The new yellow color for the app is terrible and looks like a traffic sign that signals "Caution" or "Road Closed" or "Slow" or "Uneven Road Surface." It is very ugly looking and ******* the eyes. Is this really the signal you want to portray about AOL? I think this was a bad decision on AOL's part to change from the pleasing blue color to this harsh yellow. Please change it back to blue! For the first time in years, I am seriously considering closing my AOL accounts and transferring everything to gmail. I'd like to hear some feedback as…

ensure that it will still be working one day later.
Ensure aol mail will still work on new iPad, laptop, phone more than one day after purchase. That way a tech can fix before you take the new device home.

DARK MODE
How does AOL not have dark mode? This has been a company for almost 30 years. It’s time to have an official setting for this.

Make it simpler for people who are not phone savvy to avoid nervous breakdowns when the apps they have been using are suddenly gone with no
Simplify not complicate the way you do things on the phone. I am on the verge of a nervous breakdown trying to retrieve things that change with every update. Please update and stop changing all the other choices at the same time and place they have used for years. Sometimes change is not good when other things change at the same time.

When you an email on the day received there is no date stamp, only “today at 3:00PM”
On the AOL email app when you print an email on the day received there is no date stamp, only “today at 3:00PM” This is very inconvenient when you refer to the printout in the future as you have no idea about the date received. That is not the case on the AOL website mail. Perhaps there’s a setting on the app, if not it would be a big improvement if this was addressed. As far as I can tell this is not a setting on the printer.

The yellow app icon is HORRENDOUS!
Either change it back to blue or pick a different, less OBNOXIOUS color. Who’s bright, ugly idea was this?

Update never opens to mail, always news
I am hating that the update defaults to opening AOL News. I only use the app for checking email, and I shouldn’t have to click to email every time I open the app. Makes me want to get rid of AOL. Change the default to whatever category a user last used when they were in the app.

Option to turn off news
The news is a horrible and triggering feature that should have an option to be turned off or at least customized accordingly. I am not a fan of opening the app to news everytime and having to close my eyes just to get to my inbox. Please fix this, I'm not the first to be concerned about this feature.

Pull to Refresh
I've noticed that the "pull down to refresh" gesture that works great in the Android version does not appear to work on iOS. Is this by design? I think the two apps are somewhat dissimilar in a few ways, so it's not a big issue. Just raising it in case there is any feedback wanted on this topic. Thanks - Love the apps (on both platforms!)

Preview messages need to allow user to increase Font size
Please allow a setting to increase Font Size for preview and actual email content permanently.
Preview wording is way too small and so is the text size inside emails. I can’t access mail on my IPhone after hours of customer support so they said to use the AOL app which needs increasing font options.49th ranked -
No sounds with iOS 17 upgrade
Once I upgraded to the IOS 17 I’ve lost my sounds on my aol app. Settings are correct. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Restarted my phone. And checked the iPhone sound settings. Still not working! Thank you!

Notifications/Badges Don't Clear
Notifications and app icon badges don't clear automatically if an email message is read on another device.
Let's say you receive an email while you're sitting at your computer. Both the computer and your iPhone will notify on new mail. If you now read the email on your computer, the AOL mobile application never checks again to see if that message was marked as read, so the notifications stay raised until the user clears them. App badge also shows prior unread count and requires an inbox refresh to update. Seems like a minor fix, but it would greatly improve QoL.

Simplify the send mail to a group option, way to many steps now
Put the BCC box back in the mail we are writing. When sending to a group, when we select the group, why do we have yet another additional step to confirm who we are sending to?? Bring back the mail sending the way it was before this update.
