   It's due to that highly vaunted and prided institution of free enterprise capitalism, and the pure desire for higher profit margins!

   It's not Biden's policies that are affecting the world...
   It's how corporations choose to respond to the events the world has been experiencing!

   The oil companies not drilling or producing on the land they have available... and not refining to capacity as much fuel as America is demanding.

   Abbot Nutrition, who chose to shut down their baby formula production rather than bring their factory up to safety standards.

   The huge global rise and fall in demand for almost every product imaginable... and industry's slow and profit- driven reaction to it... resulting in supply-chain, manufacturing, and transportation delays...

   ALL of which have been reflected in the "supply and demand" consequence of rising prices!

   But go ahead, Ricky...
   And believe it's all Biden and the Democrats' fault...

   I don't come from any country!

   And if you're like me...
   You'd know that we have fulfilled our NATO membership obligations from the very beginning...

   This is nothing new to the Biden Administration!

   As for the "Ukraine, Nato, Putin Stuff"...
   I'm proud that America... right along with the rest of the western world... is supporting Ukraine in their fight for the survival of their Democratic nation!

   Because that's what America does!

   Again, this is not something unique to the Biden administration! And this definitely is not all about you!

   As for Biden's standing in the eyes of the rest of the world...

   I heard and saw the world CHEER when he was elected!
   And when he recommitted America to the promises and obligations we've made... because the world knew we were back… leading... and having their backs!

   Because that's what America does!

   And, I seriously doubt anyone cares if he closed his eyes during that meeting! And yes... I saw the video!

   On the other hand...
   I heard and saw the world laugh... and groan... at virtually everything The unStable Genius did... and I regretted the trust and confidence we lost as a nation when we were so rudely and unceremoniously withdrawn from so many of the aforementioned agreements...

   Which I hope you realize... reflected 'really, really, badly' on ALL of America!

   Dear Sirs,

   for the second time in four weeks, today I have not been able to post a comment.

   I complained the last time and suddenly, yesterday I could post comments. I did post a few, but I cannot
   imagine how any of them could possibly have infringed your Terms and Conditions - or whatever you
   call your Censorship these days. For about two hours yesterday, I could participate in the Forums, but
   today, that right has again been withdrawn.

   Please do let me know what it is that I have supposed to have done wrong so that I can ensure that
   I avoid being so evil in the future. My only other solution is simply to remove myself totally from AOL
   which would be a pity since I have been loyal to AOL for more than 30 years and have never ever set
   out to offend anyone nor have I ever acted as a Troll. The fact that I use my original French ancestral
   name should inform you that I have a serious and mature nature - being in my late 70's - so having
   recently been criticised for having a "stupid name" by somebody using the name Terry 1 and then
   retorting to him that his name suggested chocolate, to which he replied my answer was a "THINLY
   VEILED RACIST REMARK" which it was not because, firstly that was not my intention and secondly
   Terry Chocolate manufactures: Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate and White Chocolate. He also told me he
   was going to report me, so if this present situation has anything to do with that incident about three weeks
   ago, please also investigate how and why he should have been insulting about my French ancestor, who, for
   your information, was a Steward for William the Conqueror in 1088, has 18 families in the UK descended
   from him, and his name also led to the development and use of the word Thesaurus.

   One final comment on racism. I have worked in 20 countries around the world and have made friends in all
   of them. I am not and have never been racist, although I have experienced it myself in other countries therefore
   it is something I would never do to anybody. However, I will react when I come across people whom I find to
   be distasteful, but this inevitably is based upon the way that they relate and behave with me. I will be nice and
   polite to anybody, regardless of their ethnicity, provided they treat me in a similar manner.

   I look forward to getting your reply as soon as possible because I do not feel that a loyal customer of AOL
   who has never suffered any problems until recently, should be treated in this way. Its almost as if you simply
   would prefer customers such as myself, should merely move their business over to gmail. I already do
   have a gmail account, so I can do that if you merely wish me to cancel the direct debits you earn money
   from on a monthly basis.

   I realize I’m opening a proverbial “can of uninformed words” by making the following proposal, however… read the constitution! There are literally dozens of issues in America… such as healthcare, including abortion… that are not specifically delineated as “a right” in the constitution, but which are actually authorized by it through a number of its’ articles and amendments! Although I’m not a constitutional scholar… I’d say an extremely obvious one of those authorizations is posed at the very outset of the constitution… the Preamble… which says… (Bold and italics are mine to clarify my point) We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

And, I realize that some things need to be specifically clarified so that others can comprehend them, such as. R v Wade is not a law... It's a Supreme Court decision! As I've posted elsewhere...     Let’s get real here, Ray… And be honest… if that’s possible! A president has only a limited amount of influence on either the amount of oil produced in the U.S., or in the price of domestic energy. While it’s true that President Biden 1) shut down the Keystone Pipeline, and 2) suspended oil leases in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR)… NEITHER ONE OF THOSE… would have had an immediate effect on domestic oil production, or the price of energy!
    
    The Keystone pipeline would have taken years to complete, and was designed to move sand-tar oil from Canada to refineries FOR EXPORT to other countries… NOT for domestic use… and thus would have no effect on domestic fuel prices!
    Of the last two oil leases offered in ANWR, only ONE was purchased, showing an unwillingness on the part of oil companies to invest in those particular opportunities! And again, it would take years for any new leases to begin producing oil… again… having no effect on current domestic fuel prices!
    Beyond that… A president cannot insist that an oil company purchase leases… or that they actually have to drill and produce oil from them… or tell them how much they can or cannot pump… or how much they can charge for that oil. Those are all decisions the oil companies make for themselves based on their desire for higher profit margins! (continued… )

The data I presented is directly from the EIA website on “U.S. Field Production of Crude Oil”… check it out! I hope you’re not suggesting that the EIA is lying! And let’s be honest again, Ray… President Biden never “promised to end our petroleum production.” What he DID say during the presidential debate on October 20, 2020… when asked by Trump if he would “close down the oil industry,” and when he was finally allowed to answer the question was… “I would transition from the oil industry, yes!” And when asked why he would do that, his response was… “Because the oil industry pollutes… significantly [meaning, as a source of energy]... and it has to be replaced by renewable energy over time. Over time!” So, you can twist THOSE statements any way you want… But please… be honest about what he actually said! And while I don’t deny your assertion that oil is still necessary for the production of all kinds of products… I’ve never heard anyone suggest that the flow of oil would be staunched to the point we would not have the resources needed to produce the products we’ve come to rely on! However, I fail to see how you come to the conclusions you have that he has a negative opinion of them! Because here are just a few things he’s said about renewables and our energy crisis during an interview with Ezra Klein, on March 22, 2022:
    
    Regarding Russian oil; “This is an emergency! Can we increase our production of oil to take barrels away from Russia?”
    Renewables are not only about climate, but it’s also about energy security, and in order to rise to the occasion, and solve those problem, we need to;
    Scour the world for more L.N.G.
    Burn more coal for a couple of years so we can reduce gas imports from Russia.
    Accelerate development of more efficient sources of energy.
    Accelerate the rollout of electric cars.
    Focus on renewables so we don’t have to use as much gas for electric generation.

    I agree with your premise, Bill... Mostly... While bullying can be a major influencer of violent behavior... there are a lot more issues that can contribute to it as well! The CDC has identified the following 6 specific causes of violent behavior… I’m sure there are others; · Repeated victimization of violence. · Attention deficits, hyperactivity, or learning disorders. · History of early aggressive behavior. · Involvement with drugs, alcohol, or tobacco. · Low IQ. · Poor behavioral control. · Deficits in social cognitive or information-processing abilities. · High emotional distress. I don’t know where this may fall under “causes”, but… I’ve unfortunately seen parents, either individually or in pairs… absolutely berate and demean their child… and I mean to the point of being psychologically abusive… to where I felt it necessary to intervene… at my own risk, mind you! And that is only MY experience of the abuse… I can only imagine what that child has had to endure on a daily basis… and what kind of person they might grow up to be! It makes me really sad for that child... And our society! So, while it’s all well and good to say “the answer” is better parenting… We have to realize that’s a far rarer opportunity than we’d like to think!

20. Apollo-AOL scrambled my 25+ yr account and now says it can't validate w/o sychronization?

    What is that? Help is useless. Spam an issue when Yahoo was merged-but at least the mail was clear.
