As Usual AOL creates two problems when there is only one.
I am a paying member so AOL offers live help. But one has to wait forever for the live help, so in addition to seeking a solution AOL frustrates the user by being forever creaky in its response.
Suggestion #1. Since live help is wasteful of the users time, why not provide a link for email directly on the "seeking help" page.
Suggestion #2. Why I'm writing this in the first place. I am getting increasing numbers of SPAM with the address that starts out UnknownSender@.... The remainder of the address varies. Is there some way I can automatically…

Increase tech knowledge/level for Help Desk
There ought to be a way for Tech Assistant on a call to refer a problem to a certified webmaster. We experienced a problem whereby the email auto-complete for an address would ONLY print BOTH the Contact Name and the Email address. This made it impossible to send certain group messages when I only wanted folks to see email addresses, not names. The telephone tech assistant did all she could AND received NO HELP from whoever the Level One person was. You sent out messages that might as well have been in a foreign language. I guess I will have to see what happens at the end of October.
We're not all Computer savy. I can drive my car, but I can't begin to understand how to change oil, sparkplugs, brake fluid, etc. Think about it! I've stayed with AOL since the 90's, and have even paid for access all these years, even though I've been told by others I'm wasting my money. I've paid thinking you would take care of changes etc.

Do you ever think it would be possible to actually get to a website when searching instead of going page to page to page.
Open up a particular website and you have 10 other site possibilities show up on the next page. Open one of those and your have more websites. Open one of those and you have more. You just never get to any usable website. You could easily spend an hour or more opening website after website that just yields more pages of websites.
It is truly an exhausting experience trying to get anywhere.114th ranked -
Allow the "From" button work to alphabetize emails
I was always able to keep my emails down to a manageable number because it was easy to delete emails once they are alphabetized. Now the From button does nothing.

Should be able to search. I delete emails in Outlook & they get sent to me again. Getting 2 copies of each email

KNOW SENIORS HAVE MEMORY ISSUES
If your paid member has been a member for a very long time when security was different and two step was not available and they grew old with you. Your members should be able to work with seniors that forget what pet they had or security questions from 35 years ago. I verified who I was and because I moved from when I first signed up with AOL in the 90s they can not verify me by the humiliating biometrics scan, because my old address doesn't match. when you click on the email square and then click the Spam so it goes to Spam, it opens
stop emails from opening when you click to send them to spam. **** emails are opening and I'm sending them to SPAM!

Hello. The name Catherine appears when I type my email in the To box, when trying to send myself an email.
I do not know how to remove the name Catherine, which pops up, instead of my email address, when I try to send myself an email.

Problems
when I move mail from the new mail folder to the folder files the email says it has moved..
but the mail still stays in the new mail folder and will not leave the new mail floder? If I close aol app and turn off phone then turn phone on the mail will disappear??
I can delete it but not move mail from new mail.I'm using a Samsung phone android operating system..
this has been going on for 2+ weeks very frustrating?

You might want to think twice about allowing advertising from CheapAutoRates as they are nothing but FRAUD phishers getting personal information & then immediately while you are still waiting for someone to answer CheapAutoRates number ie., 773-754-3097,you start getting immediate fake phone numbers from fraud phishers ie., 833-888-1218 & 844-212-0018. They're NOT legitimate. Why would you even do that AOL?. How desperate are you to do that to your customers? BAD !
