The phone system at 866-872-8994 is screwed up. I wade through all the listing and click 6 for info on the new plan and it dead-ends.
When I dial 6 for info on the new plan, the bot says there’s a problem and it “didn’t get” my request, and loupes me back to the main menu. Very sloppy, especially for a new program. I wanted to call with questions because the email AOL sent announcing it was very vague as to what happens if I say “no” to the increased fee. Get it together, AOL, please!

I will stop using AOL altogether, your spam management does not work!!!
I tried your suggestion to only accept emails from contacts in my contact list. When I did that, I stopped receiving ALL AOL messages, although the sender's address was in my contact list. And canceling the subscription was enormously difficult. I will stop using AOL altogether it's not worth the hassle. When I started subscribing to ID Protection, the number of daily spam messages increased from 50 to 80. You obviously added my email address to a website that can be accessed by spammers OR you sold it, which is even worse. Bad program, bad support- you could have done…

Annual Subscription Date - Earlier Each Year - Please Explain Why AOL Charges Me Early?
My annual membership renewal date was always in August. In recent years the charge has been hitting my card month's early. I was notified in June the attempt was being made, and I declined the charge, but it posted to the card anyway. Who can I speak to get this resolved?

I am trying to cancel a subscription i wasnt aware i had. how do i get hold of you while outside the US?
I need you to get in touch with me to let me know how to get in touch with you to cancel a subscription while outside the US. You make this extremely difficult. I do not wish to provide my information on a public forum. I wasnt even aware i had this monthly subscription until i reviewed my credit card statement. This is very questionnable business practice.

hire qualified people to "help".
They tell me my answers to my security questions do not match. It's the same answers I have used for DECADES. They say mybenefit selections do not match (I'm looking right at the at the TWO choices I made as we speak). Every time I contact on chat it is some excuse not to help. Always endsw in "you need to call 1-800-827-6364 for help. If I had access to a phone why would I use chat? What am I actually paying for? The "forgot password" doesn't even link to a reset feature anymore. Just says we can't help you…
