I’m very saddened by your deleting of my email. You didn’t even notify me.

I have lost a lot of important emails regarding mortgages, insurances, work contracts and solicitors emails. Why is this and how do I get them back?

Why was everything deleted?!? I had folders set up with conversations with people that are no longer on this earth. I found my old password after not being on AOL for over a year and thought I could go back and see my memories. Where did it go? Can you put it back? This really sucks!

Wow. This is shocking. I've never come across any provider that shows clearly, that they access your inbox and feel they have the right to go in and delete their users' private information. I want to see my emails returned. There is important information saved, including some I may need for legal reasons.

This is happening on my emails also. Where are they being saved? I would like AOL to desist control of my Inbox!

This was honestly horrible to return to, no one uses AOL regularly anymore so to delete everything in someone's account is just insane, I could cry

Your inactivity ai is flawed I didn’t sign in for a few months and it deleted 23 years of cherished saved pictures and emails. It stated that for 12 months I didn’t log on which is complete ********. I’ve been a member since 2001 and can tell you I’m devastated by this loss and hold your company in very low regards after this mishap. Your customer service was no help so thanks for screwing me over you suck!!

I’ve had my AOL email account for over 20 years. Last week, almost a full years worth of my old emails disappeared. The only email that I can retrieve is from the last 7 days, then it skips to August 2022. I called several times to AOL mail support, and was told that I needed a membership for them to help. Even with a membership, I was told, they could only retrieve the last seven days worth of my email. I told them I already HAVE the last seven days emails, so that really would accomplish nothing. They told me there was nothing else they could do, and kept encouraging me to get a membership which would not resolve my issue at all. This just suddenly happened a week ago, and I thought for sure it was just a setting or some other easily fixed problem. I am very disappointed in AOL and will now have to change my email account to Google. Now I know why people tell me AOL email is a “dinosaur.”

Emails were accidentally deleted from my trash folder. AOL is asking for a one time or monthly fee to restore them. I've been a decades long user with no issues until now. I don't understand a fee to perform what would take a few seconds or key strokes to do. Very disappointing to say the least.
