  1. Harassing users on daily -verification code

    This is using verification code to harass me- asking for verification code daily is excessive. Your f**ing email is not Fort Knox or Pentagon. Just harassing conservatives, right?

    Removing option to multiply delete email is a childish attempt to force people to use the new version.

    Hi there. You can delete multiple emails at once. Please use the scroll feature/bar from the right side of the email list to get to the end of the page and more emails will load and you'll be able to select all.   4. Can't force mail that goes to spam to go to inbox

    Such a ridiculously easy concept in theory, don't know why aol makes it impossible. I have an online form where people offer me work - this now goes to the spam folder. Now, I tried to set it up so that every time the phrase "new submission" is in the subject of an email, it goes to my inbox. But it only lets me select "deleted items" or "archived items" as the target. If I type in "Inbox" manually, it tells me "Inbox" doesn't exist! So I have no way of my emails that I want going to my inbox,…

    Hi there. Before updating your list, the contact you wish to add to it must first be added to your general contacts. To edit a list, please click on the ''Lists'' tab from the Contacts page/window, select the list you wish to edit from the drop down menu (arrow), click ''Edit list''. To add a new contact, type it in the ''Add contacts'' field. If you wish to remove a contact, click the ''x'' from that particular contact. Then click Save.   6. stop blocking gmail

    Started within last 24 hours: can't receive message from gmail senders. Gmail sender sees block message:

    550 5.7.9 This mail has been blocked because the sender is unauthenticated. Yahoo requires all senders to authenticate with either SPF or DKIM.

    Due to some recent changes designed to improve the safety of our platforms and member privacy, we’ve made the process to create App Specific Passwords more secure. This can result in some difficulty when trying to set up an ASP from a new device.


    Please ensure that you try creating an app password without using an Incognito browser and use a browser where you have signed into that account in the past, for at least a couple of days. If this is not successful, there may not be a workaround; as we don't know if or when this feature will be available, we encourage you to use Webmail or the AOL Mail app to access your email.

  14. I NEVER TURNED ON TWO-STEP VERIFICATION, BUT HAD TO USE TWO-STEP VERIFICATION, WHICH WAS OFF!

    If I wanted two-step verification, I WOULD HAVE SET IT UP! So how was it "Off" but I still had to use it? Two-step is a joke and NOT as secure as it's made out to be. Count me OUT!

  15. Authenticator App setup does not work

    When trying to enable 2-factor authentication and choosing the Authenticator App choice, it will not take the code.
    I have tried with multiple accounts and my IT guy has tried multiple authenticator apps -- all display the same number but none work.
    The error that comes up is "something went wrong, try again", then subsequent attempts say the code was not correct.

    I spoke with various agents on the phone and none were able to help, they all said to use the feedback feature - so that's what I'm doing.

  16. The auto fill sucks

    When forwarding an email to other people, as you start to fill in a name, AOL use to use your history to fill in the name and email addresses, which saved time. You would get a drop down box with a list of names with their email addresses to choose from. It is suppose to suggest names based on how often you communited with that person first. Lately it doesn't work that way, i don"t see names of people I always interact with but will see names of people I haven't even heard of. I would like to see an…

    Currently, if a user doesn't log in to their account for 12 months (i.e., if an account is unused or dormant for 12 months), it is deactivated. Once this happens, emails that were in the mailbox at the time of deactivation can no longer be recovered. We apologize for the inconvenience.

  20. SYSTEM VERY SLOW

    When I sign into my account it goes to a page that says "go to mail" why the extra step? Then once in my account the SYSTEM IS VERY SLOW SNAIL SLOW this must be improved NOW!
