Dear AOL
You must have unlimited server space since you make it difficult for users to delete their mail in batches. I sort by sender in my INBOX, i filter by Bed Bath and Beyond, check the all box, to find out its pulling my saved mail as well. WHY. I just want to delete what is in my inbox by sender only. Please place attachments on the top again. On emails that get multiple replies you have to scroll all the way down to find the attachments instead of being on the top showing the most recent sent like before the updated look. really annoying This is a copy of someone else's idea. Allow multiple, comma-separated email address to be pasted into a contact list (WHY, in a LIST, implying the need for multiple email addresses, as opposed to a CONTACT, would AOL limit the add address field to MANUALLY TYPED ADDRESSES ONE AT A FREAKING TIME?????????????????) Jeez Cmon

The New Update on AOL is not functional !
I WANT MY OLD AOL BACK. We do not like the new update--it's inefficient, takes twice as long to do something simple, Now my feed is filled with ads that require a click to close. Bring back the former.

Spam Filter Broken
What has happened to the Spam filter? Legitimate email is getting inexplicably place in Spam while in the middle of an on-going conversation. On 25 April, a person we were communicating with via email, sent us a follow up message. This message went to Spam without our knowledge. The person sent 3 more follow up messages, each one expressing an increased level of frustration. We also sent 3 messages because we had not heard back from the person. Restore to Sent Box
I accidentally deleted an item from the sent folder and then found I could only restore it to either a dedicated folder or put it in the inbox (where it doesn't belong). I created a special folder, but it would have been nice to just be able to send it back from where it came from (the sent folder). The AOL Support team on X (formerly known as Twitter) says that it's working as intended.

Allow an email to be pinned to top of email inbox
If you have a time sensitive/important email, allow it to be pinned or moved to the top of the email inbox so it doesn't get shuffled down the list by new incoming emails.

I want to see the send-to email address NOT his cute alias
Used to be when I received email in my inbox I could not see the sender's email address--only his cute alias.
You have FIXED that--now I can see the sender's email address.
BUT--when I compose email and I enter the recipient's email address then THAT email address disappears and is replaced by the cute alias associated with that email address.
I want to SEE the email address that I am sending to.

sort by "newest on top" displays only a small subset of all emails in inbox
Only for my account, when emails are sorted by newest on top (the default), only a small subset of the emails are displayed.
The subset of emails is not just the latest ones but are spread out across multiple years.
If I reverse the sort to oldest on top, then all the emails show up.
This issue could be similar to issue ranked #325: What happened to all of the mail in my inbox?

give option to dispense with "Unread" folder
Under my Inbox folder on the left-side menu in email, there is another folder called Unread.
Please give users an OPTION to completely DELETE that folder. It's of no use to me and probably many others.644th ranked -
STOP loading unread new mail. STOP IT!! I will load them for viewing when I want to view them.

Move the trash/delete icon back over to the left
Recently you moved the trash can button for each email into a column allllllll the way to the right, which makes it really hard to track which email I'm clicking on to delete. Just move it back to the left where it was. The most important thing to see when trying to delete emails is the SENDER, so why you would move any button to to interact with an email away from that information is beyond me, but it's obnoxious.

Offline capture of mail prior to deleting
Dump mail to a file before permanently deleting from the email system. Provide some better-than-text format that would free up AOL disk space and allow personal data to be preserved.

Folder goes bold when new content arrives
I would like a folder to change to bold when there is new content in it. I thought this use to work, but now it definitely does not - is there some setting I can change?

on the Notifications page, add capability to identify which send emails will notify of arrivals.

Select Emails to Mark as Read/Unread
When I select emails to mark them as Read or Unread, the selected emails after the desired action doesn't get deselected.
