pg down/pg up buttons
Please let the "Page Down" and "Page Up" buttons refer to the e-mail I am currently reading, not to the list of e-mails. But if it has to be in the list of e-mails for some people, don't add it to a never-ending list of features. This is because one fewer feature is worth more than convenience. Nice talking to you. P.S. Forums suck!

10/12/23 ARRGH! GRRR! AOL says I can now customize default settings in Writing Email. INSTRUCTIONS R WORTHLESS
OMG AOL! Get it together! You emailed me that I can now customize default settings for writng emails - Well the instructions given are WORTHLESS! The preview is for Signature only which I don't ever use anyway. I see no change whatsoever in the body of the email. THAT'S what I want customized default settings for!

Custom default writing EM setttings: There is NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL betw Classic, Classic Wide and Garamond. Each exactly the same in the Preview Signature field. MORE VARIETY OF FONTS PLEASE! I always used Georgia. Why has it been dropped?

VPN - are you bleeping nuts- banks allow VPNs. Are you top secret Pentagon or just aholes\
Normally financial institutions allow to log in with VPN down and many allow VPN use. You need to get a life instead acting liike fascists. We should be allowed to use VPNs, You are not Pentagon to block VPNS. God forbid somebody accessed our Spam. You act as pompous aholes not caring about users. We need VPN to protect ourselves on line. The complaint to my Congress rep is coming.

I cannot access my spam, draft folders. I logged on and than put back VPN which many vendors allow. Financial institutions allow VPNs. ARE YOU HARASSING ME OR YOU ARE JUST BLEEPING IDIOTS? Can you start being civilized? Who would care to break into spam or trash folders. I will contact my Congress rep about this HARASSMENT.

Spellcheck "new AOL" versus "Classic AOL"
When using Spellcheck in the new aol, there is no way to add words to the Spellcheck. So, my last name and the names of the organizations to which I belong, along with medical terminology, show up as spelling errors. Bring back Classic! I just tried to change my settings back to what you are now calling "Basic AOL" and it doesn't display my messages as I would like.

Go back to your old system....You think you know better...but you dont't You are just looking to make changes. My friends agree. If you really want input... aask peoeple who have been on aol for a long time like 20 years.....but no you all think you know better than us. The old calendar was just fine and I could get into it. Now it will not show.
Go back to your old system. If I have to learn something new I will go to the new provider like g-mail.

can't get to inbox with one click
Glitch AGAIN! I can't just click on my inbox to get mail - I get an error message. After the error message, I have to click the inbox and it will take me to my mail. This periodically happens. Very frustrating. AOL is no longer the same.

preview attachments
Users are being greatly inconvenienced by being forced to download attachments before being able to view them. It is time consuming to have to download an attachment, create a file to hold it in, and then open it. That is simply too many steps to go through view an attachment. Previously, a user could simply click on an attachment and preview it. The current method is too time consuming and makes that AOL mail feature inferior to the previous "click and view" method. PLEASE! Change it back to "click and see preview.." That will be much more appealing to your…

This platform is hard to read, hard to use, it is slow and the search is awful.
Now I have to try to go through every email to find something. I hate this platform, please let us go back but you ruined our ability because when we try to convert back, it is not the same at all. This is terrible, Looks like I will have to go with Gmail this is so terrible.

Not improving it would be just fine with me. I have to chose between a font I can't read and one that takes up half the screen. Just leave it alone!!!!

Show attachments at the top as before. Also unread emails are disappearing by itself into old mail folder. Fix this.
Unread emails are being put into old mail folder after a few days. Why is this? Please fix this problem. Also I do not like attachments showing up at the bottom of the email. I want them at the top as it used to be. If the email has long threads, I have to scroll down all the way to the bottom to verify attachment. This is just plain stupid. Please fix this as well.
