I switched to new aol hoping it would've updated it's mail sorting feature, but it's the same. I wanna sort 'From' alphabetically, but no.
Provide an option to sort alphabetically in the 'from' column.

How Can I Hide The Sub-Folders Behind The Parent Folder When Moving An E-Mail?
One, I LOVE It That AOL Finally Allows Sub-Folders!! And The Sub Folders Can Be Hidden Underneath The Parent Folder On The Left Hand Side, Which Is Great!!
But, When I Go To Move An E-Mail From My Inbox To A Folder, The Sub-Folders Are Not Hidden, So That Means There Are Way Too Many Folders & Sub-Folders To Scroll Through. It Would Work Much Better If The The Sub-Folders Could Be Hidden Under The Parent Folders When Moving An E-Mail, Just As You Have That Option On The Left Hand Side. For An Example, Check Out Xfinity Or Comcast.net…

Return the sort mail that was previously "read" function
Removing functions is a big down grade. I do not want to continue to use AOL without this function. I have too many emails to read them all and too poor of a memory to remember exact words to search for an email I want to find. I look through the ones I have read. Please return this function or I'm leaving after being with you from the beginning.

new format - lost screen of emails prior to 7 days back
I've lost previous emails that have not been addressed - only shows back 7 days on my screen. If i do a search for something particular it shows up - but I have no idea what emails are still sitting that I need to address because I can't see them!

i AM NOT HAPPY WITH AOL AUTO RESPONDER AND WOULD LIKE IT EXPANDED
Why is AOL still asleepr after ALL these years since since 1999 becoming a user. No progress in expanding or enhancing the platform but I see a new £6.99 per month Gold plan. How can I call an international number...and I am in the UK...to the technical department to request an answer on "auto responder" to be then told that it is NOT technical department who deals with the issue and I MUST send a feed back. So now I must be in the play pen to play with all the toys to find out which one squeeks to then…

"Add Contact" seems to be missing in new format, I had to switch back to old AOL just to add a new contact

When I delete an email from the notification on the lock screen of my iPhone, that email does not delete from my aol inbox
Deleting an email from the notification on an iPhone or in the iPhone app should delete that email completely from my aol inbox

Please consider making disposable email addresses available for AOL Mail like Yahoo Mail already has. It is very useful for limiting spam.

It's nice. But can I format email list columns - like have the date/time first on the left instead of on the extreme right??

Opening an email should not default to an automatic reply. This alone is annoying enough to send me back to Classic.
Provide an option when reading email to open email in Reply mode. Default should be to be able to open email in Read mode.

Dashboard security is not working
I have opted out of the sale and sharing of my information in 2020 via the AOL/Yahoo dashboard. Upon checking frequently, I see that Yahoo/AOL has changed my options, without my consent or approval, to allow the sharing and selling of my information. I have contacted Yahoo numerous times about this, and it still hasn't been fixed. I opted OUT of all sharing and selling of my information in 2020, and yet the site keeps changing it back to allow. Not acceptable. I want all of your vendors to abide by the options I elected, which is NOT TO SELL…

Why is there an annoying and distracting dark grey text box that appears while I'm typing in mail ? It drives me crazy.

Move the SEND button back up where it was (or can I move it ??)
It seems the "SEND" button for replying to or creating new mail, has been moved to the bottom of the page. Is that something I can move back up to the top of the page? Half the time the SEND button isn't even visible and I have to ***** with the page size just to send an email. Will appreciate some help - it's annoying. Thanks.
