Dashboard security is not working
I have opted out of the sale and sharing of my information in 2020 via the AOL/Yahoo dashboard. Upon checking frequently, I see that Yahoo/AOL has changed my options, without my consent or approval, to allow the sharing and selling of my information. I have contacted Yahoo numerous times about this, and it still hasn't been fixed. I opted OUT of all sharing and selling of my information in 2020, and yet the site keeps changing it back to allow. slow
It is sooo slow. Trying to go through mail quickly and also to delete and move on takes forever. I'm wasting my time here. Other sites on my laptop are fine so it is within aol mail. Help!

insert a line across the page
Add the capability to insert a line across the page between any text line.
This was available in the old version. Very useful!Allow the user to reposition function buttons on the page!

STOP redirecting to the news page after sending of emails, just let it go back to inbox like a normal email account or make it optional
Please stop or make it optional that after sending an email instead of going straight back to the inbox (the natural thing to happen and what other email providers do) you are taken to a news round up page and have to either click 'x' or "back" to get back to the inbox page. It interrupts my mental flow, is bad for RSI injured people or ppl with other hand disabilities (extra needless clicking), bad for workflow and bad for mental health- I personally do not doom scroll or injest news daily. Autocorrect spelling while typing (key words: WHILE TYPING)
I've sent several requests for restoration of autocorrect spelling while typing. It works fine in this feedback field. PLEASE restore it to the email composition. It's ridiculous to have lost it in your new and disruptive format. The idea of going to the bottom and selecting "Check spelling" is absurd. Autocorrect works - evident here. Please please please restore autocorrect while typing to the email composition. (During this typing, my spelling was autocorrected at least six times because I type fast.) Come on, techies. Fix it. Restore it.

Search mail function
What happened to the search function? I used to get a list of my emails that contained a keyword. Now keywords MIGHT be highlighted, and I have to scroll through months of emails to retrieve what is pertinent. FIX THIS, your new design is NOT an improvement.

When I reply/forward to respond to an email, I used to be able to click Back after sending the response to return to the original message.
How can I get back to the original message without hunting for it after responding to an email?

EVERYTHING is too Slow
WHY does this forced upon us horrific, loss of functionally, added unwanted functionality, take a "updating bar" and time consuming about of time just to delete your deleted folder? THE NORMAL AOL VS. WE ALL LOVED AND STAYED LOYAL TO SINCE THE BEGINNING OF AOL, HAD ONE CLICK ON DELETE, AND POOF IT WAS GONE. Now? I must be able to sort by name of sender or I will not use the new format.
I receive a lot of emails and keep many to view or delete later. I sort by name and then decide if I want to keep or discard emails in groups. Without this ability it will take a very long time to do this.

remove the 10000 cap on junk mail block addresses
Junk mail option to DELETE AND Block sender WORKS !
Once I found it the Junk Mail Dramatically decreased! dramatically! Then it stopped working.
I finally figured it out- there is a 1000 limit on blocked junk mail addresses .
AOL finally solved its biggest issue with all who reject you . we all have other emails to avoid you - but you were on the block first so we keep it .
To use the feature with NEW JUNK MAIL > it requires deleting addresses previously deleted.

blocked addresses
Blocked addresses are listed alphabetically, that means that old addresses and new addresses are mixed together in one list. With a maximum of 1000 addresses, when I delete say 100 addresses to make room for more new ones, I also delete current addresses that are currently filling my inbox. Please allow AOL users to sort the blocked addresses alphabetically AND by date. This will allow AOL users to keep the most recent blocked addresses while reducing the blocked address total below the 1000 maximum. e-mail help.
this new system sucks. i can't get onot my e-mails without hitting a button that says mail, and when i do it tells me the page is not available. i then have to hit another button and then finally get to my e-mails. i tried going to the help site and asking why and they didn't do anything. just kept giving me the run around with things that don't pertain to my problem.
