Give us back the 9.8 features in Gold

Bring back desktop themes, stationery and emojis for mail, allow us to set up Favorites like we want them, make icons for toolbar available. Most of the time when I'm typing a e-mail, the type doesn't keep up with me and thus missing letters or words. Give us back all the features of 9.8 because Gold is seriously lacking most everything.

    AOL Desktop Gold fonts and text are different from the general tab window, fonts and text should be the same on what general window tab shows in the middle part.

    letters are not good and squiggly.

    The latest update is nuts. What ever you did has screwed up AOL to the point I may have to leave after 30 years. It takes forever to load, forever to open email, takes forever to allow a download to my computer,

    i am running Windows 11, with updates.

    I understand that aol desktop gold works better on an ssd then on an hdd.

    1) Going through email is still show. My gmail email works better

    2) It would be great to have an autofill for email. I sign petitions and the autofil on google chrome fills in my name, address, and zip code.

    3) aol is still slow to respond to basic things.

    If you try to load anything it take forever. You look for a suggestion they tell you to delete AOL and reload it. How many time do you have to do this? EVERYDAY

    Aol gold is totally too slow. It takes forever to come up and while navigating is much too slow for the speed I have on my computer. You need to fix this problem. It has been happening for over a year.

    Computer has decent specifications and other programs works well but not aol desktop gold. AOL desktop gold freezes, mail takes time to load, send email windows doesn't disappear when trying to send an email and the Settings doesn't open. The program has been uninstalled and reinstalled but the same issue happens.

    I don't know how customers can revolt. We establish an email account and then must use it as our "name" for so many connections in the internet wold like Amazon or the like.
    Please, everyone chime in. AOL needs to make a greater investment in support of what runs their software and services to the customer. This is a consumer protection issue. It's not like we can just give up our email address as it connects to so many other parts of our lives. Help everybody ! Bring AOL to task.

    Latency: No more excuses. At times during my use of email on AOL Gold, the message AOL is not responding comes up and it lasts for minutes, not a few seconds. I can be on another service at the same time, my bank lets say, and response time is normal while I still don't get response to my request on AOL Gold. Simply put, have more horsepower where ever the host is that services AOL customers. Increase the price to us if necessary but provide the service customers need. The connection to the world is critical today. I've been with AOL since the "dial up days" Some times I think I'm back there. Cost then was about $21.00 a month. Now it's less but the service looking at times like it did back then.

    Get AOL where it sends and opens mail promptly. Every thing is at a snails pace if at all. The program has become unusable half the time. Doesn't load mail. Doesn't send mail. Why charge for a bad program that seldom works. JUNK!

    I have the same problem . Slow loading emails, address book. ETC> I have been on line with four techs. No one has a clue how to fix it. GOLD SUCKS and I am paying for this. FIX THIS .

    I have a good quality Dell PC with a consistently fast Internet connection speed. AOL Gold takes two minutes to open, then takes another two minutes+ to connect to internet.. Then takes about three minutes for email to load. The a selected email will open the email window but does not always show, or load any email text, it just sits there. This is not the case with other services like Firefox or Internet Explorer, etc, which connect and load in a few seconds. So, the problem is obvioisly in the AOL GOLD program. How might this be corrected?

    AOL email is so slow and so unreliable that it has become a secondary email to me. Not dependable!!!!!! at best.

    keep system mechanic dump mcafee. you can,t run two of these types of programs at one time. once you dump mcafee do a shut down of your computer and reboot. then run and update system mechanic

    I heard that McAfee doesn't work very well with Windows 10. System Mechanic isn't much better.

    Want faster opening of AOL Desktop Gold!! What am I paying for?? Why do I keep losing my connection to the internet???

    On may 4 I was talked into System Mechanic and MaCafee. My computer has slowed to a crawl.
