GO BACK TO THE OLD AOL WE ALL LOVED

GOLD has deteriorated to the point it is worthless - sign in does not work for multiple attempts + at least 6 minutes time - welcome screen does not load - email is a horror story - site performance slow + erratic - etc. - tech support does nothing - report a bug does nothing - this forum does nothing - problems are built into Gold , your browser , + servers - no positive actions have been taken in over 6 months -

What is going on with this new version? all you get are pop up advertisement to the point you can't read your mail. Let alone that you put all my regular approved mail into the spam and all the spam into my regular mail. Since you've gone with OATH the site is just terrible. Having been with you from the start it's getting to the point where I should leave. I see from other posts that this is a major problem for others as well. Any plans on fixing this? Being a paying customer I would like to have the old AOL back.

BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION. THIS ONE IS AWFUL..I HAVE WASTED MORE TIME TALKING TO USELESS TECHS WHO DO NOTHING BUT PROMISE THAT THE GLITCHES WILL BE FIXED. AND THEY NEVER ARE. IT TAKES FOREVER TO SIGN ON...THE ADDRESS BOOK DOESN'T SYNC NEW ADDRESSES SO I HAVE TO GO THROUGH ALL OF MY OLD MAILS TO FIND THEM..OH, AND THOSE ARE ERASED AUTOMATICALLY AFTER A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME. ITS AN OUTRAGE TO HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS HORRIBLE SERVICE THAT SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN CHANGED FROM THE OLDER VERSION.

i've been with aol since the beginning. i can't remember a time when i've hated an operating system more than i hate aol gold. who,exactly thought it was a good idea to change what was working into this piece of **** you have now. i'm just going to bring up 2 things. i could do more. your whole mailbox and the ability to move things into my designated folders is like playing a video game. things move around while trying to drag emails into the folders. favorite places. i really hate this one. i used to be able to set it up the way i wanted it. you have taken all that away from me. it won't let me set up folders with ebay bid items chronilogically. i can't tell you how many auctions i've missed because instead of chronilogically it's now alphabetically. it was perfect before. i'm starting to wonder why i'm paying 40 dollars a month for your software when it's not mind to manipulate anymore. who changes things when they were working fine. maybe a company that will no longer be with us soon?

There is a lot of anger here from the respondents. You are totally unresponsive. How many people are thinking of dumping aol after 20 years??? I am one of an exponential number. How sad to have your eulogy be :"You used to be so great!!!!" ........and it WILL be a eulogy.

You took Aols software and did things that have made it horrible. You can't write mail and save it to send later! Every picture I save now has to be downloaded!! I used to just right click and save now its in two parts click to save then click the download popup its stupid. Also when you try and sent pictures you can only send a small amount. These things were never a problem before I HATE AOL GOLD!!!! I have had Aol since my first computer, Windows 98 and this is by far the most horrible internet provider out there now! I am considering looking for a new provider after all these years with AOL!!

My Other includes everything pertaining to the function of the AOL Gold product when I sign on to my PC. Daily routine should be consistent and not have all these problems. You need to do something about the overall functioning of AOL GOLD. One day it may seem okay, then overnight something changes and it is haywire the next day. One day you can copy and paste, another time you can't copy and paste. I have not seen anything worthwhile about AOL Gold. Someone should have had it working properly before we were advised we had to have AOL Gold. I am a customer. You are the provider. You should have someone that should be capable of finding a fix for all the erratic, unpredictable, inconsistent daily problems created by your AOL Gold. I have called AOL regularly with a new mishap or a repeat of previous problems I have encountered.
This product has been the worst experience I have ever had with AOL. Please fix it! Just fix it. Thank you.

I am not about to waste my time listing out everything that does not work for your paid programmers, but I will say it slows down my system (which is 3.6 I7 20 ram) and sometimes freezes it totally. I can change email addresses once but never a second time or it freezes everything. Seriously looking for an alternative after more than 25 years of use.

aol 9.82 was so good, what is gold all about? IT DOES NOT WORK. I am not happy with 1 sided user agreement, the fact that I now have to pay even though I bring my own service but mostly the fact that IT JUST PLAIN DOES NOT CONSISTENTLY WORK! I am at my wits end.
