Give us back the 9.8 features in Gold
Bring back desktop themes, stationery and emojis for mail, allow us to set up Favorites like we want them, make icons for toolbar available. Most of the time when I'm typing a e-mail, the type doesn't keep up with me and thus missing letters or words. Give us back all the features of 9.8 because Gold is seriously lacking most everything.

You must fix the horribly slow loading experience. It is at least 10x slower than 9.8 or AOL.com.

STILL - NO IMPROVEMENTS IN ANY AREA OF GOLD
14 attempts [w/three restarts ] to sign into ebay + others , constant error, message [ URL failed to load ] - slow + erratic email , email spam has increased over 10 fold in past 2 months - non existent local news - biased , outdated , + irreverent news coverage - incompetent tech support + customer service -

Way to AOL... more issues!!!! Now the News pages don't even load in AOL. I copy the URL and load it in another browser and BINGO, works. THAT MEANS EITHER YOU HAVE A SERIOUS SERVER ISSUE OR YOUR BROWSER ISN"T FUNCTIONING. As promised to AOL, I will be leaving tomorrow if the things I requested aren't fixed, which is likely they will not be since it's a day and NOT A SINGLE THING I've complained about has been fixed. Pathetic when I started complaining in December 2017.

The email with Gold is very erratic sometimes works and sometimes not. However, on my smart phone the email works just fine. This is hard to take. Please, fix it!

Please fix this problem. The problem of typing faster than the computer prints is not new, but very annoying, & now sometimes I type and a few letters don't even appear. So far this happens on emails only.

I agree completely the comment of Steve Grosvald. Gold is a disgrace to AOL and an insult to your loyal customer.

Obviously thousands of your subscribers, like me, hate AOL Gold and find the functionality miserable compared to 9.8.2. Is anyone listening at AOL or just posting these thousands of similar responses and ignoring discontent? What are the excuses for forcing a "not ready for prime time" version on us?

Here's a great idea. DUMP AOL GOLD and go back to old version. You may loose customers over this.

I wrote the original comment and am still hoping for all of the following to "return" to AOL: stationery for mail, more font choices, a way to organize Favorites the way we want them and have a drop down menu for them, a way to choose icons for the Tool Bar, a way to organize our Address Book the way we choose, desktop themes, better working Mail (often it can't send or respond and has to refresh itself), Help that actually works when the drop down menu comes down, etc. You seem to have fixed the type not keeping up with us as we type out e-mails for which I know I am grateful. It seems most people agree that these things are things they miss and wish you returned to 9.9 so why not improve Gold by adding to them? We're paying for Gold and the other was free so it would seem that "free" meant better software than "paying" for it gets us. Most of us don't want to leave AOL. We just want you to improve it and give us back the things we loved most.
