Give us back the 9.8 features in Gold
Bring back desktop themes, stationery and emojis for mail, allow us to set up Favorites like we want them, make icons for toolbar available. Most of the time when I'm typing a e-mail, the type doesn't keep up with me and thus missing letters or words. Give us back all the features of 9.8 because Gold is seriously lacking most everything.

I am continuously losing mail from all of the mailboxes. Also, the newest emails should always be at the top but this keeps changing. I fix it by clicking on date, it gets fixed, and then in goes out of order again in a few days.

Please..... this is obscene. Make the ads smaller and reduce the number of them. I refuse to look at AOL news, weathe,r and other places because of these ads. There are so many that they have made me crash many times.

Let us resize pictures we send in emaisl the same way we were able to do it in the old AOL. Fix the settings in A-Z. Right now over half of the alphabet letters are grayed out. and unusable. Most of all: everything on the interface and all of AOL Gold is huge even tho I am set for 900 x 1600, and am 900 x 1600 in all other browsers. The resolution you gave us is 1280 x 720. I posted about this and received a reply on how to change my resolution and AOL closed the case! I made it clear in my post that i AM already set for 900 x 600. So no-oe if really paying attention to these posts.

STILL - no improvements in ANY area of gold - either AOL is not listening or they just do not care - email worst on internet - no local news , getting further from set location by the day - biased outdated uninteresting topics on welcome screen - organizing favorites is most user unfriendly on web - sign on is total disaster - tech support does nothing ( clearing cache , cookies , rebooting + reloading system ) will not cure problems that gold has built into system - sign in problems - slow + erratic site performance - aol shows NO respect for long time paid subscribers at all -

AOL desktop gold has failed 8 times since I have had it. And 8 times I have spent 2 hours on phone with aol support help - Bomgar or something. It looks like it is working now, so I will keep it for about 2 weeks- to allow for all my contacts to learn that I am switching to GMail . Then I will l cancel my AOL DESKTOP GOLD and demand the return of all the money you have charged for this wretched headache that you call DESKTOP GOLD, which I have been paying for since July 4, 2017.

Notice the total lack of response to all these complaints. I repeat, I doubt anybody at AOL even reads them. They know they've created a disaster and just don't care.

You guys have RUINED my entire on line experience. WHY did you have to ***** everything up? Everything was just great the way it was. I can't express how disappointed I've been since you just when ahead, as if WE DON'T MATTER, and screwed us all up. You are a bunch of inconsiderate, selfish, greedy bastards who have no respect for ANYONE but yourselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Totally agree with all these posts. Ready to quit after being a member since the 90's. Plus, you should be able to just open an attachment, instead of having to save it, and then have to delete it. And I don't believe we pay for this service and can't get a full blown out menu of emoji's to use like we get on our phones!! Saving to your file cabinet is crazy double steps, and then it doesn't take it out of your inbox - ever! You have to delete it - more double steps. Soooo many issues. If I had time, I'd go through and vote for every one of these posts. Please bring back 9.8.2 or this girl is gone.

Are you guys trying to run Gold on a Dell desktop or something? So slow I can't even watch a YouTube!
It's time for a change. I find myself surfing via Internet Explorer. I can use my ISP for email. Bye-bye! -

Cannot set mail to be listed "on launch" (AOL is still primarily an email program, isn't it?)
Cannot set window size/position to be remembered
Cannot launch "optimized" (it launches "minimized" AND then stretch the windows) -

Yah, AOL Gold is a definite downgrade. My 9.8.2 was free and less annoying. I'd pay the $4.99 to have it back! Using I.E. and MSN more and more! AOL used to log the last 300 pages you visited. Now most are gone. You took away the ability to pause video ads so that I could read stories instead of using video. A bypass video button would be nice. Now you place ads in stories so that we have to manuever around them and some have no CLOSE means. I think most users who are old timers (25 years for me) are going to be willing to SWITCH rather than FIGHT. AOL is destroying its own uniqueness. Good luck wi dat! Fortunately my screen name is the same on Yahoo, MSN, GMail and AOL. Switching won't be all that dificult!
