Give us back the 9.8 features in Gold
Bring back desktop themes, stationery and emojis for mail, allow us to set up Favorites like we want them, make icons for toolbar available. Most of the time when I'm typing a e-mail, the type doesn't keep up with me and thus missing letters or words. Give us back all the features of 9.8 because Gold is seriously lacking most everything.

AOL GOLD IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST. The 9.8.2 had issues, yes. Lots of them...but this is not an improvement. It's a DISASTER. Seriously! It's slow. It's annoying. It's just plain awful. I can't stand it. And judging by the enormous number of "members" who agree with me, neither can they. Either go back to the older version, with improvements, or lose the rest of your subscribers. And with good reason.

Hire some folks who know what they are doing.

What a bunch of jerks. After paging through all the ads you get to a video that says This video is unavailable. Start complaining to the advertisers since AOL doesn't give a **** about their customers. They'll pay attention to lost revenue.

Not all chats are working. aol://2719:3-5719-Martial%20Arts%20Forum does not work and was the only reason I've stayed a paying member for so long.

Not sure how things could have gotten so messed up, but any time i opened an earlier version of AOL software, it had a *solid* feel to it, as if i had an iPad or something that I'd just plunked in front of my screen. Now it comes in all broken in pieces and closes out the same way -- like some newbie's first shot at creating a web page.
And yes, the whole thing is slow to respond. Click on the email icon, nothing. Click again, the mail finally comes up. Click on a piece of email, nothing. Click again, and sometimes again, and it finally comes up. (I have no trouble anywhere else on the web, so it's clearly not my machine.)
Please fix this or maybe go back and leave "Gold" behind until it can actually be "Gold."

Why is the word "Re" added again and again in the subject lines when emailing back and forth with someone? Eventually there are so many "re's" that the email title is obliterated.

AOL Gold is a total disaster in all ways. I've complained about 2 things and they deleted both posts and closed both cases without contacting me which just proves that they could care less. After being a member for over 20 years I am getting ready to leave. Very sad because I used to love AOL.

Send Desktop Gold back to Hades! AOL has made blunders before but this is the grandfather of all blunders! AOL wasn't broke who's constipated brain thought up this change to Desktop Gold? They should find employment elsewhere!! At our lodge meeting of the Fraternal Order of Police it was unanimous to ditch AOL into an "Out-House"!!
As my grands say, not only Desktop Gold but AOL SUCKS BIG TIME! -

They are not going to give us back FREE 9.8. They want us to PAY for Gold. But, the only gold is in their pockets. This is the worst ever "new" AOL.

The suggestion is to rename AOL Gold to AOL Fool's Gold. Your customer base want the 9.8.2 features back, all of them! What was promised in Gold is not what was delivered. Please restore us to 9.8.2. Quite honestly as a long time customer, I have one foot out the door. Before I leave, I plan to contact some Verizon/AOL executives. I doubt they are hearing the full story.

Hello???? Is there anybody out there in AOL land??? Please fix this disaster you call AOL Gold. It has to be the most awful desktop ever and I've been an AOL customer since the early 90's. I really am getting ready to cancel my subscription....

Perhaps if AOL would fix some of the problems, people would WANT to call the product support team. As it is, AOL is right and the customers are wrong so nothing ever gets fixed. How arrogant AOL is!

Too many bad "features" to mention. I'm out of here.
