Give us back the 9.8 features in Gold

Bring back desktop themes, stationery and emojis for mail, allow us to set up Favorites like we want them, make icons for toolbar available. Most of the time when I'm typing a e-mail, the type doesn't keep up with me and thus missing letters or words. Give us back all the features of 9.8 because Gold is seriously lacking most everything.

    AOL is making many changes, but these changes should be perfected before they are made available to AOL Customers who depend on access to do their daily work.

    Emoticons: they are so poorly drawn and so tiny as to not know what they even express, WHY DO YOU EVEN HAVE SOMETHING THAT INFERIOR to put in an email???

    The AOL Desktop Gold Feedback system is meaningless and disorganized! The current AOL Desktop Gold is even worse! I will hopefully find other options.for a server. AOL 9.8.2 was VERY WORKABLE. However, Desktop Gold is terrible and the feedback system is equally as terrible.

    Also ... why do we only have those ugly little emojis for email??? And one more thing ... supposedly the problem of duplicate emails was fixed but it is NOT. I'm still getting 3 or 4 of the same thing. Your new wonderful Gold is anything but. More like rusty tin than Gold.

    My AOL gold just stopped working. Am now using Explorer to get my mail. How do I get it back?

    You say you are unable to duplicate the scrolling issue.

    You are welcome to visit me and I will show you - you put a permanent ad on the right side of the email window. Consequently, the full title of emails no longer has enough room to be shown. So I have to open ALL emails now just to read titles, vice glancing at titles and deleting the ones I know are junk. This wastes my time.

    Upon opening emails that same permanent ad on the right side narrows the availible window for the email. To read the email I must now scroll right & left because the email doesn't have room to wrap. Again wasting my time.

    I pay you $39.95/month to be a full-service customer. And you think you have a right to stick ads in my email window????

    GET RID OF THE ADS NOW!!!!!!!!!!! GET THEM OUT OF MY EMAIL WINDOW!!!!! NOW!!!!!!

    WHAT? , NOW I HAVE TO WAIT FOR EACH WORD TO APPEAR,
    A SIMPLE 5MIN. LISTING FOR E/BAY TURNED INTO 40MINS. & THEN.....DISAPPEARED !
    ON THE OTHER HAND, THINGS WRITTEN, OR SENT- KEEP RE-APPEARING. AOL, U OWE US A REFUND & AN APOLOGY FOR THE ANGST WE`VE HAD TO INDURE WITH YOUR SO CALLED ''GOLD''___WHAT A MISNOMOR !!rI******50@AOL.COM

    AOL Gold is horrible, Bring back the entire e-mail system from 9.7 or 9.8. Browsing is poor in AOL Gold as well. Hate it.

    worst mail system..worst software in 30 years as a customer..I HATE AOL GOLD..I am working on leaving AOL for the first time since you began....

    Here are some specifics, we can't insert background pictures into email any longer. You removed that option. There is no download manager, no way to tell if your download is progressing or not when downloading from an internet site. We have very few fonts to choose from, none are what I would like to have. When going to the 'Window' on the top tool bar, there are few helpful options in there. Specifically the ability to have more than one email in progress and to be able to access what emails are there or what windows are open. You took that option from us. Its very annoying that favorites are alphabetized whether we like it or not. I don't like it.

    I hate AOL GOLD and am seriously considering quitting AOL...ALL the reasons I liked AOL are no longer available and now I cannot even save my password. When you have a good product, why would you mess with it.

    Gold is dirt!
    very slow, might as well go to MS if your mail is the same, go back to 9.8.2, Overall you didn't ask anyone to check gold before you did it. It's terrible.
    I've been with AOL since 1990 ... looking elsewhere

    If a company cares about their member or subscriber and not just for money, this aol gold should have been fixed long ago. I guess it's about time for me to think of getting a new email
