This is the worst AOL software I have ever seen over the years. AOL, bring back 9.8.2 and fix the little issues with it or else you will lose a lot of customers and don't take forever to do it, either.

Gold is terrible. In fact, it's the worst thing AOL has ever produced. Please bring back 9.8.2 and fix the little issues with it.

many of the prior Gold features are gone,,, too many to name... today I tried to, as I could with prior desktops, to Block Unwanted MAIL in the email itself when right clicking the sender... this is no longer an options and it really is extremely annoying... you had over 6 month now to bring back features Desktop user want/enjoyed... GET WITH IT

Your AOL Gold is so slow I am going to stop using AOL.

You eliminated the ability to dropdown contents from mailbox and Financial while in another screen.Very inconvenient!

Alphabetizing Favorites does not work. If item name isn't precise,it's like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Go back to letting us arranging items by choice,not strict (and rigid) alphabetical sort.

1. Permanently hide the folder list as an option.

2. Show how many emails each screen name contains in the sign on screen. I have 7 screen names and I use this function to see whether I have to sign in to a screen name or if I can skip it.

3. When I try to choose a background AOL Gold shuts down and I have to re-sign back in.

4. As I log into each screen name a large white rectangle box flashes across my screen. This has been happening since the day that AOL GOLD was initiated. Easy fix is to bring back AOL 9.8.2 with maybe some updates.

5. I pay monthly for AOL and I shouldn't be forced to use a new desktop that doesn't work for me.

6. I've uninstalled AOL Gold to try and fix these problems and then it is hard to find a new AOL Gold installation link.

7. I can not become invisible at sign on.

8. Where do I find the AOL system information that includes utilities in AOL Gold as in the 9.8.2 . All I had to do was right click on the AOL icon and was able to click the Utilities and clear cookies and cache, it used to be so easy!

9.These are just a few of the problems I'm not happy with and at the moment can not think of the rest.

You removed many old good features for AOL Gold.
Let's go back to the old AOL.

I realize that AOL is slowly failing, but do you have to turn into a **** magazine. It's like reading the Enquirer.

I want the AOL 9.8 back by the first of the month or I'm gone! Don't try and tell me you cant't do it either. I'm not pleased with this AOL Gold. It's more like fools gold!

Ive been a loyal customer of AOL products since 2004.I'm not happy at all with this AOL Gold. I'm shutting down my account on the first of the month and am going elsewhere unless i can get the AOL 9.8 back!

When people see I am with AOL the comments are, your still using AOL, their old and no one uses them. I in turn tell them that I have been with AOL for years and I have no problem with then. All of that was before AOL GOLD came along. This thing call GOLD is a joke and I thik if something is not done, like dumping it then I will be writing to tell you Thinks For The Memories. You may want to listen to all these people that do not like GOLD. I have not seen one good thing said about it.

Oh my goodness, it's as if these comments are reading my mind! One thing I may have missed is the ability to copy emails from an Excel spreadsheet and send a group email. In the past it was great, I was able to keep contact info updated there, copy to AOL and go. Now I when I do that it brings the group up as one big block and bounces back as one bad address. The only work around I have found is to either copy each email in directly, which is time consuming, or create an address book which I then have to update every time from my spreadsheet and STILL have to go in and add commas in between the names or it brings it up as one big block again.

I MISS THE OLD AOL - people think I am antiquated because I use it but I use it for the features that have improved over the years. If I wanted to be on GMAIL I would, please don't turn into them completely.

I do agree though that the ability to download files in this version is better than the zip files, however, I miss that it doesn't close the box once I've opened it. Not a big issue but I often download, start to work and it may be a while before I come back to AOL. The dialog box is still there, which never used to happen.

I myself do not like Gold as well for one thing I do not like the way you would have to write an email.
Bring in the old writing icon. This CCc and BBc has always been a problem long before the purchase of AOL a long time ago. Why not use AOL writing icon. It's much, much better and easier
from what I been using all these years. Secondly, you have not made any changes since I wrote
about about a couple of weeks ago. Until then I do not want any charges against m as of yet even
though I'm not using it as of yet. I only go to the page to see if there has been any changes or upgrades as of yet. So you make certain that no charges b made until these issues are fixed.

Need ability to DELETE e-mails when reading them from the OLD MAIL page. Although a DELETE option appears it does not delete the mail unless I then go to the complete list of ALL old E-mails and delete from that page.
