As you might have noticed we changed the login process in AOL Mail, to a more secure 2 step login, which helps prevent your AOL account from being compromised or hacked.

    Please remove the double password boxes on ****ack41839. Prevents me from mailing from facebook, etc.

    why the need for a password when you require the use of a cell phone to validate my account. If you require a password what's the use for a secondary step, which requires a cell phone to . card to open AOL??????? change this BS or I'M CXLING MY account

    Please stop blocking my sign in with your demand for my cell phone number. I do not wish to do so, and it ends up wasting my time. Thank you.

    You tpld me to update but I do not own a cell phone so U would not update my account I have had for over 20 years......

    Put sign-in and password on same page. Make 'help' actually useful instead of giving me tons of links to no where. Make key word tied to AOL items only; don't take me to the web. Or, just go back 10 years when AOL was easy, quick, and intuitive.

    Is a wasting time to sign in with our screen name already there, and click to sign in, and the screen name appears for second time, every time that I sign in is a big wasting time.

    Sign-in Screen:

    Get rid of Next screen. Go directly to Password screen.

    Aol sign on is terribly cumbersome, especially when switching screen names. I guess none of the Aol employees use Aol.

    Fix AOL sign in, this is stupid waste of time. You all have screwed up AOL worse than it was.

    Like earlier updates to Gold, it just keeps going backward. Regression testing is not a new concept, you should try it.

    I called Tech support to see if I could get rid of the extra (third) step introduced into the email sign-on procedure. The tech guy answered rudely that it was new engineering to improve security and why complain when it only takes a few extra seconds. Yea, but extra time spent uselessly is annoying (clicking "next" wouldn't deter a hacker, would it!). He was unsympathetic to the point of being nasty. When Fios no longer gives me a $10 /month discount for using AOL, I'm outta here! It's one thing to offer a lousy product, but AOL's lack of response to so many customer complaints is unacceptable. Some business model; like no other platform exists! Firefox, here I come.

    AOL SUCK !!!!!! GO BACK TO THE OLD AOL DESKTOP.... TOOO MANY STEPS NOW TO GET TO OPEN YOUR EMAIL... GO BACK TO THE OLD SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!! TOOOOOO MANY ADVERTISERS ON THE EMAIL... ALL YOU WANT IS TO MAKE MONEY!!!!!! WE DON'T NEED ADVTG. WHEN WE ARE WORKING AND TRYING TO ANSWER EMAILS...

    Some people might know this, but in case you don't AOL was bought by Verizon and they bought Yahoo as well. As some might know Yahoo was a system hog and it was because if all of the ads.
    But my point today is that almost every other day or every day the sign in takes three stages, then two stages. This tells me someone is messing with the setting very often. Fix it and the let it alone. I'm a paying customer as most are that use the Gold we were force into if we wanted the desktop program. So enough with the ads, And messing with the program.

    And this log on is ridiculous. Three screens and you can't Tab to fields after the first screen. Some of us like keyboards. Instead it's Keyboard, mouse, keyboard, mouse, keyboard. very frustrating to pay for inconvenience and issues. Had AOL since Win 3.1 but may be time to give it up.
