I imagine I am not the only person who is tired of finding very old news on the Welcome Screen. Today there was a big deal about foods that have been recalled. I was shocked and immediately sent it to some friends only to be informed it was OLD! I was embarrassed and let them know I should know by now AOL reruns stories months after they happen. By the way, President Trump signed some new beneficial legislation this weeki? Why aren't you covering that? It's nuch more news worthy than an OLD article about hot dogs! Shame on you.

You have a "Boredom Therapy" news item that you have showed several times in the past few years. It is old news. It is the one about the baby whose 26 relatives died from a desert served at his party..
Stop showing old news items like they are news.

Wouldn't it be great to see something new and uplifting on the welcome page? Like the 1000+ children and surviving spouses of veterans being flown to Disney World by the Gary Sinese organization for families of veterans. AOL would do well to show stories about some positive things happening,...also like wages growing in October and November and the very low unemployment rate especially for some minorities. Stop with all the anti-Trump ****.

IT IS TIME FOR AOL to clean up all news/posts on welcome page that have appeared so many times over that past year. STOP! This is not what we MEMBERS pay for.

Today is Dec 1 and AOL weather is still showing videos of Hurricane Michael and thanksgiving Day Parade.

Your news is a farce. It is so difficult to find the story when so many ads and popups hide the news. I have totally given up trying to read your news stories. I google the subject and usually find quickly other sources that are much more efficient and less frustrating. I only stay with AOL because my wife doesn't want to learn a new system.

Day after day we get the same (very same) stories on our service. You don't even try to repackage them; they're exactly the same stories. Your subscribers pay enough not to have to put up with this kind of shabby treatment. You make millions of dollars a year; you could afford a couple of people to do this.

With all the money all we subscribers spend do you think you could forego repeating stories over and over. There are several that keep popping up every few days. And they weren't good to start with. Additionally, when we click on a link we have to go through a laborious process of scrolling down to click next to find out the next segment. As much as we pay it's ridiculous to have to do this. Get it straight or you'll lose me as a customer.

AOL needs to get up to date on news stories. I've been an AOL member since AOL started and it was a great forum to read the news, and other great stories. Today it is flooded with old news stories, advertisement and just plain junk. When i sign into my Welcome page I want to read up to date News and great stories from around the world like I used to. Bring back the old AOL simple easy, Great stories on one page for easy reading and enjoyment. Its no pleasure having to wait for a one line paragraph to upload so I can read the rest of news stories. WE don't read books with one sentence pages, we don't read a newspaper with one sentence pages why would AOL think readers would want to read a story that way. We dont, so bring back full page stories...

I have seen numerous "suggestions" that AOL stop running outdated stories on your welcome screen. I just saw one from April. And I didn't even bother to scroll through all of them. How about some stories of current events? And how about telling more than one side of the issues? How about at least attempting to be fair and unbiased. If not, at least publicize your political affiliation. Be honest.

Show real news in the news section, not months old things about the Queen or actors!
If you want to call it news, have it be news! -

How many times are you going to put this old news story online? Waitress Gets Groped By A Man While Working And She Gives Him The Justice He Deserves is months old and has been used as a means to make room for more ads. What is going ON?

It has been posted in the past.
AOL has consistently repeated most of the same ARTICLES/Stories over the past 3-6 months.
Some for close to a year.
If Members have to view adverts then Members should see fresh Articles/Posts/Stories everyday.
Of the 72 Articles/Posts by AOL, four are of the same adverts.
of the remaining 68 Articles/posts. More than half are VERY OLD
THIS HAS TO STOP! -

Why does AOL keep putting very old stories over and over again. Is there no other stories that could be found? It seems the abilities of those that choose stories is extremely limited. Any stories where I have to click on "next page" does not get read anyway. I will not cater to your glut of ads by clicking on "next page" in order to read stories. You have crossed the line and have lost thousands of people due to placing ads everywhere, including decreasing viewing size of the screen to about 25%. All these benefits you promote do not take the place of common sense presentations! I don't know who approves content, but they need to get real and find some common sense somewhere. AOL Gold has really stepped into the past and is regressing instead of being an innovator in the field. Thanks

When will AOL stop posting the same stories over and over. There are some postings that have been posted for more than 2-3 months, some LONGER. I am sure AOL can as a wire service keep up with CURRENT EVENTS. SAD, VERY SAD.
PS Even the QUIZZES are out dated -

You rerun very old and stale news like the park closing because of alligators. You have been running this well over an year. Please, give us some fresh news. And please bring the daily news back and I do not mean the Kardashians.

I AM GOING TO STOP AOL IF SOMETHING IS NOT DONE ABOUT THE POUR QUALITY OF REPORTING BY HUFFINGTON POST. THERE IS NO INTERNATIONAL AWARENESS AND THEY REPEAT THE ARTICLES OVER AND OVER. WHAT ARE YOU PAYing THEM TO DO. I COULD GIVE A DAME ABOUT SCANTLY DRESS SINGER AND ACTRESSES THAT SET THEMSELVES TO BE MOLESTED AND THEN SUE WHEN THEY GET APPROACHED. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS AND SO DO THE ARTICLES THAT ARE SO OUT OF TOUCH WITH REALITY AND DEMINE OUR PRESIDENT AND OUR COUNTRY. THE WORLD WILL NOT BE LAUGHING MUCH LONGER BECAUSE THOSE THAT LOVE THIS COUNTRY AND CARE ABOUT ARE it's FUTURE ARE ABOUT TO STAND UP TO THIS FAKE NEWS AND THE TRUTH WILL SET US FREE.

I BELIEVE HUFFINGTON POST IS A FAKE NEWS ORG. THE SAME ARTICLES ARE USED OVER AND OVER.
NOTHING IN DEPTH REPORTING TOO MANY AD.
TIME TO RESET AND RESTART TO CHANGE OUR WORLD.
NO BODY WANTS OR CARES ABOUT WOMEN POOR JUDGEMENT IN CLOTHING. NO ARTICLES DEFAMING MEN AND THEIR CLOTHING.
