I have been using the AOL calendar for quite some time and have become very dependent on it. The fact that I can still look at the calendar and make additions and deletions is a good thing, but it does not replace the email reminders.

I am retired and have become involved in several organizations with meetings, projects due, etc. in order to keep my mind sharp. As a senior citizen, the calendar email reminder was a great asset to me since my memory is probably not as sharp as it once was.

In fact, when AOL became AOL Gold for a monthly fee, the calendar was the only reason I felt the need to continue using AOL.

I have been calling AOL for over a month regarding this issue and each time I am referred to a "specialist" who tells me they are working on the problem. It was not until today that a "specialist" advised not much is happening in regard to the problem and that I should submit feedback.

Each time I call I am encouraged to purchase the upgraded plan, system mechanic, etc. If they can't fix the calendar, why would I think they can provide these advanced services!

AOL needs to come through on this feature.

How do we know it is actually in the process of being fixed?

Is AOL going to correct this problem or go on disrupting peoples lives? Fix the Calendar issue or provide the tools to move our Calendar information to a working calendar. Thank you.

Has anyone successfully transferred info from their AOL calendar to another online calendar service who has a working email notification for calendar events? If so, how do you do this, or where can I find instructions on how to do it? Thank you.

This is the last straw ..... I hate the new "GOLD" ... it's so inconsistent .... and I almost missed a doctor appointment today. I see this is nothing new. I too have been with AOL for about 20 years.

I've missed several events and appointments lately. I've been with AOL for 25 years. The main reasons I STAY and PAY are the organization of saved email and favorites and the calendar and REMINDERS!!!!!!! Some genius (sarcasm) has removed that function. Please restore the reminders!!!!

Just more **** from the new "gold" that aint worth a ****. the calendar reminders is one of the main things i used....and now its gone.

Just an observation: The Reminder via email alert function had existed for years and it just sort of disappeared? No - it was purposely removed with no warning or reason. I assume that it must have been cost related somehow??? The kicker is that if you contact AOL support they don't seem to know what you are talking about. I talked to an AOL tech yesterday who said that it will probably be added to a future software update. What the **** does that mean?

Wait a minute, I have an idea. How about just reinstate it?! We are not talking about anything new. Just reinstate what was there. My feeling is that this ain't coming back anytime soon (if ever).

I will have to finally move on from AOL if this feature does not return soon. This is an actual functional feature vs. some of the other superfluous features offered by AOL. It's kind of ridiculous that I even have to point all of this out. Isn't it rudimentary that if you have a Reminder function that you would expect a function to deliver such Reminder?

This is getting old and is really sad for AOL.

Same issue here, no calendar email notifications...stopped a few weeks ago. Why didn't AOL notify us that this was going to happen? The AOL Tech said the calendar notifications may or may not return...so which is it? Will we start getting notifications again and if so WHEN?

This is ridiculous! I didn't get reminders and because of it missed paying two bills on time. Why hasn't this been fixed???? When I went to "Chat" I got an automated response and then basically got hung up on by the customer service rep. Worst service ever! You are going to lose a very long time member if this doesn't get fixed ASAP.

I am a paying AOL customer. The AOL Calendar has stopped sending email reminders for the past few weeks. I have contacted AOL technical support by telephone and used the "Report a Bug" feature in AOL help. No resolution of the problem.

I have been a member of AOL since day one. Like others have indicated, my AOL Calendar reminders stopped working 3 or 4 weeks ago. I have spent much time trying to remedy the problem. Cannot find solution to the problem. Is AOL tech working on this ????

Aol installed a new version yesterday and still has not fixed the Calendar. It does not send Reminders or To Do's to my mailbox as set. It was fine until the previous version of Aol was installed. Hasn't worked since.
Aol Tech's say they have kicked it up to the second level. That was a couple of weeks ago.
