AOL Desktop Gold (Not Responding)
AOL Desktop Gold is not responding on my computer. The issue is intermittent. I can navigate for a while and then all of the sudden it will not respond. Contacted AOL Tech Support. We run System Mechanic, still no good. Checked task manager to checked CPU usage. AOL Desktop Gold is the most highest running program on my PC. Please check this problem. Thank you.

2. Click on Help on the top right, and select Report a Bug from the drop-down menu.
3. Type a short description of the problem, and click Send.

Quite often, I get a "not responding" message and everything freezes. It usually only lasts a few seconds but it IS annoying. Please fix this problem. Thanks!

After 7 years of the "new and improved" AOL "Gold" there still remains a lot to be done. After tech help, in which they only deleted AOL app and reinstalled it, Gold lasted merely a week before it started crashing again.
I'm getting quite used to the little blue circle going around, and the statement at the top of the page that says, "Not Responding". I think that would be an apt name for this "new" browser.......Mostly I guess that I'll just keep on reinstalling it.....myself. -

FOR T HE LAST MONTH OR SO, AOL GOLD DESKTOP CONTINUES TO LOSE FUNCTIONALITY WITH USAGE OVER TIME UNLESS CLOSED AND TURNED BACK ON. IT USES UP THE MOST MEMORY OF ANY APP AS SHOWN IN TASK MANAGER. THIS NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED ASAP!

Still freezing up, sometime 15 seconds, 1 minute or full lockup. Have to restart computer. No reference to time after turn on. Some times can go for a full day and the next day very often.

Every time, since 2112 installed, upon turning on the computer then attempting to bring up Desktop after ready - Desktop Freezes.. Upon trying to start it, it 'fades' and presents "Not Responding" & locking up
Only way to continue is have to bring up Task Mgr and cancel the 4 AOL programs (AOL, Tray, & 2 Golds). Then, when restarting Desktop, it works..

AOL GOLD is seriously slow to open. I have a 30+ meg connection, 16 megs of RAM and a clean operating system. The only outside factor affecting speed is this AOL GOLD program. Not only dog slow to open, but dog slow to connect with the internet. Not only that but AOL GOLD many times crashes, then leaves remnants and artifacts clogging the program. Really a terrible and amateurish attempt at duplicating a decent style AOL program. The AOL GOLD chiefs should hire a competent computer consultant to clean up this mess we pay for. This has gone on too long. I think I smell a class-action suit brewing!

Lately, I'm getting "Not Responding" VERY often when trying to read my e-mails. Doesn't last long, but very frustrating at the frequency it's happening. Hoping you can correct this problem
