POOR PERFORMANCE
I HATE/ABHOR AOL DESKTOP GOLD. I have never seen such a total failure of a site that was previously working well for many. For this we are paying money??? Performance is horrible and, it is NOT my computer as I've had it checked out by experts who, BTW, echo sentiments about AOL. As soon as I can find a way to transfer all my favorites, saved data, emails, contacts, etc., this 30yr customer is HISTORY. Booo Hisss AOL...shame on you.

I agree I've been with AOL for over 20 years and had no problems until the AOL Gold. for the pass 3 days I've been on the telephone a total of 10 hour trying to get my email fixed. Talked to 4 different people and the were looking at the problem however, the kept saying "I don't Understand" I giving them until Tuesday to fix the problem. If it is not completed by thenI am out of here with AOL Gold
THIS IS MY PROBLEM
When I send an email from either of my group after the email is sent each member of that particular group email address appears under my single contact list (Email address only) Consequently I have my single person email address with their name and email address and all of the email address only from the group. If I delete the email addresses which I did and when I looked under the group there were no email address under that group. I have called 3 times about. Just got on the telephone after holding the line for 25 Mins and the Tech hung up. She had control of my computer and I was showing her exactly what had happened. She asked me to hold then she hung up. I have been a customer of AOL for well over 25 years and never had problem until I downloaded the Gold. -
