Restore the old spam settings. Now we only have one setting.
First you took away stationery and vast choice of fonts, emojis, etc. Then you changed how mail is set up (from new, old, sent, spam, deleted mail to current style) and the Spam settings from numerous choices to only one (blocked). it seems the longer we continue to PAY for AOL Gold, the less we are getting for our money. I see by the Feedback that I'm far from alone in feeling AOL Gold does not seem "golden" to your PAYING customers.

Hey,
Wanted to let you all know that you now have the ability to block mail from unwanted senders. Please click the link here to learn more: https://help.aol.com/articles/keep-your-inbox-clean-by-blocking-unwanted-mail-in-aol-desktop-gold

There should be a program to recognize frequent SPAM partial addresses. I have over 400 emails with Admin@, admin@, newsletter@, contact@, or unknownsender@ in my blocked email box. The program can also block emails starting with a name/number@. In 3 weeks I have blocked 600 SPAM emails and STILL receive 50-75 every day. If you cannot correct this up the number to 3-4000 as I will reach 1000 in a few days.
Thanks. -

More spam filters need to be added to AOL Gold, especially if I am going to pay for AOL. At one time I could indicate what words to reject. I am sick of getting sexually inappropriate spam in my spam folder. I am constantly getting lots of spam in my spam folder that I should not even be getting altogether.

This is a real problem for you customers and would be recognized as a great improvement. Viewed as a positive step to improving aol customer support. We note that AOL has not responded to any of the complaints about getting hundreds of spam emails to be blocked. The current method simply would take hours each day to move spam addresses to Blocked addresses. AOL can make big points by improving this process.

I keep getting these lewd Spams. I've added the addresses of the offending senders to my block list...which used to work...and I am just getting increased lewd mesages. Why doesn't this work any longer? I want to block these senders and their lewd messages.

Is AOL getting the message, does it just not care or does it make money allowing hundreds of spam messages come to our spam accounts every day?

This is a great Idea. When you are currently getting hundreds of spam emails a day, it would take forever to individually enter the addresses to be blocked.

I have placed 283 emails in spam and they are still sitting their, AOL has done nothing about it and many are threats. We are the customer and we should decide what mail is SPAM, not AOL. The Post Office does not decide what mail is SPAM, and neither should AOL. Also why do I have to sign in again when I am already on AOL Desktop???

ALL AOL PROGRAMS, especially AOL GOLD should automatically BLOCK SPAM address or at least have the option to do so. Any and ALL deleted SPAM addresses should AUTOMATICALLY BE sent and ADDED to the AOL "Block Unwanted Mail" list. Probably the reason it isn't already is AOL is partly corrupt and in paid cahoots with certain SPAMMERS and/or AOL Programmers either don't know how to set that up or have been instructed not to by AOL Veeps. Either way, it's idiotic and antiquated and renders inept, impotent and poor service for which AOL now has a global reputation.

You haven't fixed the SPAM issue. I'm still getting close to 200 Spam emails every day. Nothing is being blocked. I tried to block them, but ie doesn't help. They are reported as SPAM several times a day. PLease fix this.

Get hundreds of spam emails a day. Many AOL identifies as scams. Each of these must be individually entered into blocked email. That makes in impossible to deal with as it would take most of the day to individually process these one at a time. Figure out how to highlight the group of spam messages and place them in blocked email. Now that would be a great service to your customers.

Can't stand email from regular senders of mine who are tagged with the "Safe/Not Safe" tag. Why? I already know they are safe and the rest is NONE OF AOL'S BUSINESS. I'd much rather have the ability to add email addresses in my Spam folder that are offensive so that they will be blocked than this nonsense.

This email address does not have a functioning. I am getting dozens of these in my spam folder and I cannot unsubscribe them . I get a not from AOL at the top of the mail that if I want them to click on "Not Spam." The implication is that AOL will stop sending them if I do not click on "not spam." but it is not happening and I cannot unsubscribe them.

I rec. numerous emails every day - I have added them to the "block" list and many are going into the spam folder. The problem is these emails all start with the addresses - news@ , or administration@, or good@ - why do I have to delete from spam then delete permanently from the delete file ?? Why can't you block all email coming from what I have identified as these are ALL SPAM and have pornographic info as part of the subject line info. If I can block entire area codes using a "block" unit for my telephone - why can't you block all emails which are sent from news@, or Administration@, or good@. I'm tired of having to delete all these every single day not once but twice and they still keep coming. I have been a customer for over 30 + years. Please fix this, it is obvious that I'm not alone with this problem.

Seems stupid? Does AOL ever do anything about any issue posted? It says "reviewed" but never here's the fix.
The inability to block spam and the supposed "auto delete" when I mark something as spam don't work. I have filled up the option in settings to block email (1,000) of them so I still get 50 to 100 new ones every day.

I receive many junk emails with the local part like Renter-250835info or Renter-250806info with ever changing domain names. These emails should be totally blocked.

90% of my spam comes from 2 domains with constantly changing name before the @. It would really help if I could block the entire domain, e.g., enter *@baddomain
