Restore the old spam settings. Now we only have one setting.
First you took away stationery and vast choice of fonts, emojis, etc. Then you changed how mail is set up (from new, old, sent, spam, deleted mail to current style) and the Spam settings from numerous choices to only one (blocked). it seems the longer we continue to PAY for AOL Gold, the less we are getting for our money. I see by the Feedback that I'm far from alone in feeling AOL Gold does not seem "golden" to your PAYING customers.
Hey,
Wanted to let you all know that you now have the ability to block mail from unwanted senders. Please click the link here to learn more: https://help.aol.com/articles/keep-your-inbox-clean-by-blocking-unwanted-mail-in-aol-desktop-gold

I love AOL. Been on it FOREVER!! However, I am having trouble keeping my screen on when using AOL. Somewhat frustrating. More frustrating, even though I have my Spam Filter set as high as it will go, I still get MASSIVE amounts of spam. I sure hope I hear from someone or I will have to go to another provider. Thank you. Ike

I am a long time AOL subscriber, like 30 plus years, i am seriously considering a change of carriers for email. Two reasons, the cost, and a second, probably more importantly, the dirty pornographic SPAM that comes on a daily basis. I have tried to unsubscribe from it. That does not work, as new Spam comes with different addresses. Is there a way to block it?

The problem now is that there is no "save" button anywhere in the Settings - Mail menu to save your new additions. Talked with Tech Support yesterday. The guy said that I'd have to go to AOL web mail to add any additional email addresses that I want to add. NOT customer friendly when I only want to use my AOL Desktop Gold with the features in it. Please add a "save" button so I can add more "offenders". Can't understand why a "save" button is such an outlandish request!

The previous version of AOL allowed a way to save when I typed in an address I wanted to block. Now, when I type the address in "Block Unwanted Mail", there is no place to click to save the list. Please tell me how to save what I have added to my list of mail I want completely blocked after I have added an address to that list.

Why not a button on the Email screen that can block an address without needing to open it to see the full address?

Make it easier to block people. I get emails by the dozen with difficult to block names ...like GPJKDERTYVC. Why not let the user right click and tap "block this sender"?

What is it with the SPAM recently? I am getting 20-30 SPAM messages a day and it's the same ones over and over. It is very annoying. Since they are in my SPAM email and then I delete why do I keep getting emails from the same people/companies over & over?

SPAM BOMBS DURING THE HOLIDAYS: We are receiving hundreds of spams during the season. AOL is not doing enough to protect its paying customers. We may have to leave.

Dont waste your time calling tech support about robotic automated spam attacks. I've called multiple times and was told to set the spam filters (duh) or click on unsubscribe which would create more attacks. That was dangerous advice. The attacks promoting products come from ISP's around the world and I am receiving 75 to 100 a day. AOL must be on holiday because if they wanted to, they have the technical ability to filter these attacks before they reach our inbox but refuse to do so. AOL should be ashamed not protecting their paying customers.
