Restore the old spam settings. Now we only have one setting.
First you took away stationery and vast choice of fonts, emojis, etc. Then you changed how mail is set up (from new, old, sent, spam, deleted mail to current style) and the Spam settings from numerous choices to only one (blocked). it seems the longer we continue to PAY for AOL Gold, the less we are getting for our money. I see by the Feedback that I'm far from alone in feeling AOL Gold does not seem "golden" to your PAYING customers.

I have 84 spam emails representing Sat afternoon thru Monday at 11am!
Who is this renter-info....why can't AOL DESKTOP GOLD Techs develop a program that these spam emails don't even make it into my spam folder? This is so frustrating. I report it as a bug and no one responds. I've added these spam email addresses to be blocked but it doesn't do any good! AOL: YOU NEED TO GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND DO SOMETHING!!!! -

I used to get a half dozen spam messages a day. Now, it is over 100.

I would like the block list limitation to be increased from 1000 to at least 5000 entries.

I am getting over 150 spam emails a day. -

I have been requesting for a long time, the ability to block email addresses that are generating a lot of spam to my email box. I used to be able to type part of the address and use wild cards (*) to block the spam. That feature was taken away for awhile and then restored. But, when it was restored, there is not a button allowing me to add specific email addresses. I am using AOL Desktop Gold. I read some of your feedback and responses but none of them work in AOL Desktop Gold. I can only come to the conclusion that whoever owns AOL now is profiting from the massive amounts of spam generated to my email box and that you refuse to stop that kind of kick-back money by allowing a user to block off certain spamers. I'm at my wits end because a great deal of these are lewd and from the same, similar email address but at a different URL/domain. (The programming to block spamers would be really simple so why not update AOL Desktop Gold to allow that feature again?

Your spam filter is no longer working. All the spam is now coming into my regular in-basket. Are you aware of this? Is a fix imminent? Thanks.

Incoming SPAM has increased about 600% lately and we need fixes. Please!

My incoming SPAM has increase about 1,000% lately. I need to be able to use wild cards in blocking SPAM addresses. I have several SPAM senders who vary a few characters internal to their e-mail addresses and it's impossible to block them in Spam Controls. Here are some examples of the e-mail addresses the Spammers use: 290003365@3iu06-staytunnedoffers.com; 2290003365@p034s-staytunnedoffers.com; 290003365@94n1o-staytunnedoffers.com

Apparently, apparently you are not all not understanding the full problem here
You keep referring people to this idiotic little link for this link and it don't work when the domain names are being changed every 5 Seconds these are computer-generated domain name and these Bots are coming in by the 1000s
And I'm not about to sit here all day and night by ciphering through this tough trying to find my mail
It is no good you have to do better you have to come up something better than to stop these automated Emails from coming to my mailbox
Yeah blah blah blah go to this site do this do that but that BS don't do nothing it doesn't stop it from coming through
You have to do better to stop this automated stuff from happening it's very annoyed very frustrating and it's BS for people who are paying for the service to have to put up with this mess from you all
Can I kind of think you are like it and you allow the stuff to come through this should have been resolved a long time ago🙄

This is all necessary because tagging email to spam requires the entire name and domain must be identified to get the email into spam and the sender changes the domain name with every email they send.
