We get a lot of email that we do not want and have it diverted to different email folder. These emails have a specific set of characters before the domain name. The domain names change with each email to get passed attempts to block the mail. So we use these specific characters to divert the mail to a bad email folder. However we have few emails that start with the same specific set of characters that we want to receive. These are added to the address book, but are caught up in the effort to move the large number of those we do not want and are also placed into the bad email folder. This could be corrected if the order of processing incoming email. First check if the email is in the address book and move it into the inbox. Then if it is not in the address book, then move it to spam or the bad email folder.

you constantly tell me to join free trial for blocking unwanted junk mail when you already have that program in spam folder you need to get a program that actually works i still get spam maili from senders that i have put into that useless program. the old aol had it,and it worked to bad gold doesn't have tha same old program how about me blocking you as a sender?

As i mentioned thousand times you have to block all names in the email and you have to do the word person has to do a verification code to prove that they're not BOT!!!! when they're sending an email to someone on AOL

Every time I look in the spam folder for my deleted mail there are 1,000 2,000 3,000 emails and all of those are automated email sent out by Bots and it's very annoying very frustrating when I have to Cipher through that BS to find my stuff of something I might have missed something that's important that someone's letting me know and it gets shoved over into that mess and so I'm ciphering through thousands of freaking emails in this so-called spam folder

As you can see from this screenshot these are computer-generated emails that keep flooding my MAIL BOX and is very very frustrated and very inconvenient that I have to pay for a service and I have to keep going through this I'm paying you a Monthly prescription fee and yet I have to keep getting all this trash coming to my email because you are refused to do anything logical about it

Wake up and stop sleeping behind the wheel and do something about this **** that keeps coming through me email address

As you can see from the screenshot they just keep changing the domain name you block domains but they keep changing the domain name the only way you're going to resolve this is to do a bear fiction 3 digit code for people sending mail to AOL it's the only thing that's going to work
ALL THE SO CALLED SPAM FILTERS YOUS HAVE, JUST DONT WORK WHEN THEY ARE CHANGING THE DOMAIN NAMES WHILE SENDING THIS **** OVER AND OVER AGAIN

AND THIS **** INTERFERES WITH EMAILS THAT I NEEDS TO SEES AND YET I HAVE TO SLOW UP ME DAY GOING THRU ALL, ALL THIS BS TO FIND ME IMPORTANT STUFF 🙄

As a senior woman, all of the spam emails directed to helping men have better sex is disgusting! I also have comcast.com email and never receive these types of spam.

Also get hundreds of "attempted to reach you" messages. Surely AOL can prevent these emails.

Is it possible for SPAM mail to be deleted and not able to get the same spam the next day? The address (@) changes, but the email still get through. I get over 100 of these spam mails everyday!

I have almost 4000 spam emails in my spam folders. Its a serious enough nuisance to cause me to cancel my Gold account and move to Gmail.

Allow wild card blocking. I get rons of spam from admin@ and a@ plus a few others. Allow me to block admin@*.*

Why do I have tons of spam in the spam folder when I am paying for a mail service? Seems the fees should at least offer skilled programming who know how to restrict spam coming from the same configuration of mail addresses.

I'm up to over 160 spams a day and wouldn't you know AOL keeps trying to sell some kind of spam eliminator for ten bucks a month.This is a tactic organized crime uses.

Blocking spam is very poor with AOL

Provide an email option under "Block Senders" to allow blocking of an entire domain. Most junk/phishing emails come from sites that generate temporary email names: *@somesite.*** would eliminate a lot of junk.

AOL has to go to an automated thing where it emails the user back and ask them they are just the three digit code for their mail to continue to go through EarthLink has done it already you guys can do it too

It doesn't have an effect on the box they keep using the same username but a different domain these things generate 1,000 domain names per second and you can't beat that nobody can the only way to stop them is to do a generated code telling the user to enter for their email to be process

Why am I getting bombed with SPAM in my mailbox?? I had over 150 spam emails in my mail box the past couple of days!! I send them to spam and delete all and there they are again. Hard to believe you treat "paying" users with no regard. If by chance this is a bug then FIX IT........It's ****
