Restore the old spam settings. Now we only have one setting.
First you took away stationery and vast choice of fonts, emojis, etc. Then you changed how mail is set up (from new, old, sent, spam, deleted mail to current style) and the Spam settings from numerous choices to only one (blocked). it seems the longer we continue to PAY for AOL Gold, the less we are getting for our money. I see by the Feedback that I'm far from alone in feeling AOL Gold does not seem "golden" to your PAYING customers.
Hey,
Wanted to let you all know that you now have the ability to block mail from unwanted senders. Please click the link here to learn more: https://help.aol.com/articles/keep-your-inbox-clean-by-blocking-unwanted-mail-in-aol-desktop-gold

Why can AOL do nothing about junk mail, especially the hundreds you get from like " Renters-Info XXXXX, they are all spam junk mail????

AOL, do something about these addresses!

getting tons of email that get around your 'blocks'..with addresses like renter-59554@...whatever they are selling....your blocking system does not recognize it.

People have figured out how to get around your block. Make words block addresses rather then a complete email address.

AOL is failing in customer service!

AOL does not appear to make any effort to stop spammers. My spam messages have now increased to hundreds a day! What is wrong with AOL? Some of my normal email is not ending up in Spam. It had taken hours to filter through the enormous number of spam/fraudulent emails I receive. I am considering dropping AOL as my primary provider if anyone at AOL is concerned or cares! ?I have a secondary gmail account and rarely get spam! Why can't AOL be concerned about this problem? It is only getting worse!

Most Spam Emails Ever
Today sets a record as over 200 spam emails.
Congrats you placed almost every one in the spam folder, but still I have to constantly go to the spam folder and delete these - often in the hundreds.
YOU KNOW THE SENDERS _ YOU KNOW THE DOMAIN THEY USE DO YOUR USERS A FAVOR -- BLOCK BOTH THESE AREAS!!!
SEND EMAILS BACK TO THE SENDER _ DO NOT EVEN LET THEM HIT THE ACCOUNTS OF YOUR USERS!!!

Please bring back the generic blocking feature "star-dot-star" so that AOL subscribers can effectively block annoying and highly disruptive e-mails from specific senders, like "renter-44368info@2doymaysse.co.uk" (without the quotes), to stop this annoying garbage from arriving in my in-box. Since October, I now receive hundreds of these e-mails every week. They all begin with "renter-" and ostensibly originate in the UK. Thank you.

Spam mail is a huge problem and the source needs to be blocked by AOL. If I block them, they just use another email address. This is in my opinion, harassment that AOL is doing nothing to protect their customers. I am currently looking for another source for me and my wife after 25 years of being a faithful customer.

I get at least 100 spams a day from uk

You need to do a better job. I'm getting 100s a day. You put them in the Spam folder, so you know what they are. Putting them into the blocking list is useless, since the addresses keep changing. Since you know what they are, just block and delete them. I don't want to see them and I don't want to have to deal with them!!!!

I am receiving more than 50 spam-type emails per day. Most are with a .uk address. There are too many to put on the block list. They change numbers every day, but most end with .uk. As a long time AOL customer I am disappointed AOL is not handling the existing spam situation as well as they have done so in the past. Please listen to your members that need help. Thank you.

Yeah, used to be forty spams, then sixty, now eighty to over ninety spams a day mostly "renter...".And of course AOL offers a control for a fee.It was probably AOL that sold email addresses to the dark web in the first place.

Why do we have so much spam making it through to our email? Even though it ends up in the spam folder, many of these are coming from the same source so I don't understand why you can't block them. Why are we paying for a product with all this spam and pathetic political bias?

Is there any way you can add a feature in your spam control that would allow me to enter "renter-info@" since I get dozens of emails daily since they regularly change the info after the @ sign? I have to go through dozens of spam emails daily to look for non-spam items, and it would be nice if I could reject outright any emails from "renter-info@....." They really clog up my spam folder.

There is no way anyone can cancel the spam accounts. And you sure can't keep up with them
