I don't like having to agree to delete an e-mail. It's one step that is annoying.
In order to disable the prompt, please follow these steps:
1. Open the AOL Desktop Gold and sign in.
2. Click on the ‘Mail’ menu on the top left.
3. Select ‘Mail Settings’ from the drop-down menu.
4. Uncheck ‘Confirm before deleting items’, and close the window (changes are saved automatically).

Like may persons I receive >300 emails daily. I need Instant Delete to save time. Otherwise I would spend hours daily deleting unwanted and unnecessary emails. Please restore Instant Delete.
I have to use AOL on the web version to save my day! -

Change the delete mail function back to how it was before, when I didn't have to confirm my deletion. This is very annoying and may be enough for us to cancel our AOL account and try something else.

I am VERY irritated with having that reminder message asking if I am sure!~!! Of course I AM SURE, OR i WOULD NOT BE DELETING THE ITEM!!!! KINDLY REMOVE THAT MESSAGE IN ORDER TO ALLOW ME TO DELETE ONE AT A TIME WITHOUT WASTING MY TIME IN GET RID OF UNWANTED EMAIL!!

My mail deleting process changed. Please fix my mail so it can be deleted one piece at a time without a reminder message to ask me if I am sure.

I still cannot believe you are still asking if I want to delete the selected message twice. If I didn't want to delete it I wouldn't have click on it to start with.

Annoying and time-consuming.

I was about to make the same complaint. It takes 3X as long at least, because you ALSO have to choose Yes or No.

deletions now take twice as long since a second box that says do you really want to delete has to be clicked. too time consuming to delete now

I want to opt out of having to click twice in two different places when getting rid of already deleted emails. It's extremely annoying and I will
drop AOL if it cannot be done. -

What happened to my inbox??? Until recently, I could go through my mail and delete an email and move on to the next. NOW, I have to click on delete and a pop up shows asking me if I'm sure I want to delete it. If I delete something accidently I could always go to the recently deleted folder and retrieve it. WHY FIX WHAT AIN'T BROKE?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate this, it's repetitive and time consuming.

Why in the world did you re-post emails from back in Sept. that I had deleted in my recently deleted file? Its back enough I have to delete new emails twice without deleting them a third time.

Why don't you go back to the old way of deleting mail???? The new and improved way of a 4 step process to delete is just new but NOT improved!! Just spent 20 minutes deleting mail and was asked 4 times to ask if I was sure I wanted to delete Who's idea was this? They must be desperate to be on their computer as long as possible How moronic

Up until a couple of days ago when I wanted to delete my listed emails I simply hit delete for each one. If there were 5 I would hit delete, delete, delete, delete, delete. Now I have to hit delete, YES, delete,YES, delete, YES and so on. Its a pain in the neck. Go back to the old way. The statement is do you want to delete the selected items, which implies I should be able to selected several and hit YES one time. Mine doesn't seem to be able to do that.

Tap once to delete email. I now have 160 emails that I have to tap twice.
They go to deleted mail and can be restored if you deleted the wrong one. -

You, people, have been working on improving for over 20 years!!!!
What makes you think that will EVER get it right???? Personally, I believe
that you WANT to aggravate the **** out of us and have no intention of getting things just right! ! ! ! ! Now I need an extra move to delete unwanted emails??? Why? YES, I'M SURE I want to delete it Waste of time and effort! Get rid of it! ALSO, why do we need 5 tabs in the email box????? That is ridiculous & useless! ! ! Why there is a need for "inbox" plus "search"? "NEW" "OLD" & "SENT" IS ENOUGH ! ! ! ! !
All the money you've been charging over the years and you CANNOT hire people who can do the job right! You stink!
AND I DO KNOW THIS: IF ANYONE IS READING THESE COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS IS ONLY FOR screening, checking for bad language! NO ONE is actually taking notes!
You hired three year olds to play with it and these are the results!
THIS is SICK!!!!! -
