get rid of that ugly yellow highlight on email

I no longer enjoy checking my email since AOL screwed it all up with the horrible orange stripes. Please give your customers the option to return to the previous email software and design!

I have also inadvertently deleted emails I did not intend to delete. The backlash on this stupid feature has been enormous yet the feature remains? We are PAYING customers, as stupid as that sounds for what we're paying for. We demand this feature be removed or an option to TURN IT OFF be implemented immediately!

Why hasn't this been fixed? Get rid of orange/ yellow highlight Totally agree with everyone! Re: TERYL JACKSON commented · April 13, 2022 7:37 PM Why are you messing up a good thing? If you want to make it an option, fine, let those who like it opt in. HOWEVER, let those of us who seriously dislike it, have the option to OPT OUT!

Yellow bar hilited the e-mail is annoying, distracting, and a horrible idea !Whoever came up with this brilliant idea should be fired !!!!!!!
Please get rid of it !!!!!!!
Also the redundant deletion of e-mails on the blue bar is totally unnecessary and has caused many unwanted deletions -

Please go to the original way to display my list of e-mails. That yellow long box and the three icons on the right of it are useless and dangerous, I already have deleted two e-mails because I drove my mouse over the trash icon on the yellow line and I clicked thinking that my mouse was some other please. Thank you.

ABOVE MY TOOLBAR I HAVE A LIL YELLOW THING THAT LOOKS LIKE A HEART AND HAS NUMBERS LETTERS OR SYMBOLS THAT CHANGE. WHAT IS IT??

I will keep sending daily complaints until AOL removes the highlighted enlarged font or gives us a way to at least return to the original way. Very distracting, annoying, makes me dizzy. I called into tech support and they told me to use a different browser to read aol mail if it bothers me that much! Can you believe that!!! I am a very, very long time PAYING CUSTOMER who uses the Desktop Gold software. AOL please fix this.

Think I erroneously flagged a comment thinking I was flagging this whacko idea - the latest of many cooked up as "revenue enhancers."

This might sadly be true....Is no one is listening to AOL paying subscribers? Thank you Gary. Just change mail back to the normal setting...no enlarging nor orange/yellow highlight. Can't be that difficult....Please please change back!!! It's terrible!!!

I agree.. It tends to make it confusing and causing a moment of feeling dizzy. Please remove this feature.

I agree with others, I have been in AOL for all my internet life, but this will make me quit. I am a paying member. This yellow magnified bar is just plain annoying and stupid - and someone there should have known that. Test your changes with real users!!!! I can't believe it is still there. Are you listening?

I'm like MANY others a PAYING LONG TIME (30+ years) CUSTOMER. If AOL won't make these features so they can be opt out, I will be changing my email account to Google Mail and LEAVING AOL for good.

LINDA CARR commented
So many complaints about this new feature. AOL what are you waiting for? Please remove it or give us the option to opt out.

how many complaints will it take AOL for you to realize that your customers DO NOT LIKE THIS CHANGE. Paying customers especially should not have to put up with this terrible change.
