Need the email count of each folder that used to exist in previous versions. Please provide email count.
Gmail gives an email count for each folder. AOL should provide an email count of each folder. I don't understand why this is not provided. In previous version an email count was provided.

Still awful. PLEASE just go back to what we all want or give us the option to use the old version. The new layout here doesn't take getting used to, it's just bad and wasn't necessary. @AOL, do better by going back to what already worked.

Hate new format
I hate your forcing me to use your new format. I can't do anything with it. It is terrible and I want the old format back - you make it impossible to do what I enjoy doing with emails. Can't save when I forward. Can't past without going to all kinds of corrections. You make it a terrible experience for me.

not a fan of the new AOL appearance. ALL!!! of my emails show up as "read". I can't tell what I have read or haven't read.
Change back to the original format of where unread emails are in dark black to keep them separated from what has been read

Let me change the message notification sound like apple does. I do not like the default sound and there appears to be no way to change it.
Option to Select from message notification sound from list of sound options.

Everytime I reforward an email a new margin and line appear to the left - THIS NEVER EXISTED MONTHS BACK!

ADD DELETE CONTACTS
Deleting cached emails is impossible. Editing the contacts to remove is an overbearing process of click after click. I have a quarter of a century of emails, most of which I don't want in my contacts. Can you add a check box next to each for rapid selection and deletion? Anything would be better than the way it is now.

Vastly expand the real time dictionary and add functionality to add to it.
Hello and thank for considering what should be a very, very, very simple automation issue. That being the roundly insufficient automatized "dictionary" during email composition.
On top of not finding what should be simple words for a reasonably expanded vocabulary, there's no option to add what you had to search out to make sure you're not going crazy; agian, over a simple word like suss.

An AOL user should be able to access their email saved on their pc without needing the AOL Desktop Gold software.

Two years or so after you screwed up everything about AOL mail, you would think you could have a way to scroll down through mail
Purge all the changes you made two years ago and get back to being able to scroll through mailbox, basic, simple but too hard for you "brains"

AOL continues to dissapoint. Many years ago, we used to cringe every time AOL updated. Seems we have returned to this. Every time you change things, you make it harder for the user to use your service. This last change (having to sign in---then get a code sent to another device---is just the latest problem. If I have to have a new learning curve, in order to keep using AOL, then maybe I might just as well expericnce a learning curve with a better service!

How to improve AOL email preferences options
Dear AOL, I am unable to cancel or remove the top searched email in my AOL account. When I an in email and go to the top search bar under "email", I am unable to remove the top used emails I corresponded with. Alex at your help desk has been working on this for 1 hour and 20 minutes and exalted it to senior technician and they are having issues. Please see that something is amiss and the option to delete or remove is not coming up. Please help. Thanks you very much and Alex has been working very *******…

Please revert back to old classic email
This new email is so awful & confusing. When responding to an email the sender's email gets in the way. While we need change, that is not one of things that need changing.

More steps to do the same thing is NOT an improvement.
Having things on the bottom and the top is NOT convenient. Having to search instead of scrolling to find the folder to put your emails in is NOT faster or user friendly. Having the send button on the bottom stinks. I liked everything across the top, easy to see and use. This format is atrocious.
