Return the sort mail that was previously "read" function
Removing functions is a big down grade. I do not want to continue to use AOL without this function. I have too many emails to read them all and too poor of a memory to remember exact words to search for an email I want to find. I look through the ones I have read. Please return this function or I'm leaving after being with you from the beginning.

Stop automatic showing of the next unread message
I have old email messages that I need to keep as "unread" but the new AOL automatically shows one of these messages when I close another message, then I lose the one I wanted to keep as unread. Please stop automatically showing the unread messages! I want to choose when I want to read them, not have them automatically shown.

Deleting older emails
Can you put something in place that the emails could be auto deleted after a certain time period or let us set a certain date. Also email to be deleted could be deleted automatically or let us go through the batch and save any that we would like to save before letting them delete. The process now is painful. You can delete all or none. I need to delete some.

Open several e-mail at the same time
It should be possible to open several e-mail at the same time, so that one can shift between them.

If there is an entry in my contact list and I receive an email from that address it should be placed in my new mail / in basket not put into my recently deleted folder along with other junk mail. I have that person in my contact list for a reason and I can remove them if there is a problem.

get rid of that 24/7 help at upper right
every time i hover mouse over it it appears and it's very intrusive. put elsewhere/make smaller/ or something. i'm sick of looking at the pop-up option every time my mouse is up near that part of the screen. thx

Your spam filters keep misdetecting totally legit long-established email senders as spam
Your spam filters are imperfect. You're extremely good at detecting almost all spam; thank you for that. However, bizarrely, quite often you decide that someone I've emailed with for many years is spam! How can that happen? At least you do send it to me, with a note saying we think this is spam; so then I tell you it isn't. But my puzzle and annoyance is: How come your filters ever got the idea in the first place that someone I've emailed with for many years - an employer, in one instance! - could possibly be spam? Login issue
At login AOL presents: “You will scan a QR code to sign in with a passkey". When I click for the QR Code, I am presented with a case and clicking a flash drive where the QR is supposed be and passkey to create.
I do not see any QR code scan, And the passkey I have created is accepted by my other browsers, mobile phone etc. How come AOL does not provide passkey fill out circles for me to type in my passkey numbers. This all a complete waste of my valuable time even after providing my email address…

fix 2-step verification calls. don't come through the first time
I actually like 2-step verification. I want to secure my account. However, when the calls don't come through I feel like you are trying to force me to use text or some other way, like what's app, that I don't even have! Get rid of the choices that DO NOT APPLY and get the phone verification fixed.

Since Mon 11/17, not receiving emails from some senders. Don't know all of them. The Athletic, gmail, optonline are a few. I have been told to have senders fill out senders.yahooinc.com. This seems unrealistic since how do I contact their IT department? I don't even know all the senders that have been affected. This was fine until Mon 11/17 when several legit emails showed up in spam. I marked them as not spam. Give us a whitelist
I'm tired of pulling the same friendly senders out of the Spam folder, and your system doesn't learn when I keep marking them "Not spam." Time to join the 21st century.
270th rankedIf you mark a message Not Spam using one of our clients once, that sender will no longer land in the Spam folder. Is there a chance you're using a 3rd party app - perhaps one with its own filters?
