Give us back the 9.8 features in Gold

Bring back desktop themes, stationery and emojis for mail, allow us to set up Favorites like we want them, make icons for toolbar available. Most of the time when I'm typing a e-mail, the type doesn't keep up with me and thus missing letters or words. Give us back all the features of 9.8 because Gold is seriously lacking most everything.

    BRING BACK INSTANT MESSAGING AND THE OLD AOL DESKTOP. OR RELEASE THE OLD PROTOCOL FOR HISTORICAL RECORDS.

    after paying 14.95 a month for over 35 years it is time to unsubscribe from this program. The chatrooms won't work, The news items you have to click thru 14 pages to read a story just so they can overwhelm you with ads. The program is so unstable that it freezes 20 times a day. You people screwed up a good thing you had going with Desktop 9.7. Gold was supposed to be more stable. WHAT A JOKE THAT IS! It takes forever for an email to load, if it ever does. It's not worth 5 cents a year let alone 14.95 a month.

    This program is the mose unstabloe useless thing I have very seen. I have been a paying customer for over 25 years. You can eiher fix this useless thing or I will be cancelling my subscription soon. Who did you hire to write the code for this program two middle school programming 101 students? I hope you didn't pay much!

    Browser is not recognized by many sites. At times I get notices to update my browser. It freezes more often than not. It is slow. I could go on an on.
    We were promised a new browser. Where is it? Seems like to don't get anything here. We just get things taken away that we used to enjoy. I am so fed up and disappointed with AOL.

    Do what is necessary to increase the speed of streaming downloaded items from links in AOL gold. Nothing can be viewed at this point in normal time.

    Give us back our AOL! I pay for mine, instead of getting it free, like many do! But, You turned it in an AD junkyard! You can't even click some links before an ad jumps into that spot! AOL 9.7 was fine! But, you did away with the others to have control!! Were it not for the emails, I would go to Firefox!!!! I'm 60, so I'm not a child! But, I can see money grubbing at the customers expense!! I haven't been paying for years, just to look at an ad machine!!!!! You can never make a move unless you agree to "Terms of Service"!!!!!!

    i HAVE BEEEN ON THE AOL INTERFACE SINCE 1992 - THAT 36 YEARS WITH AOL, AND THIS IS THE WORST VERSION EVER.

    i LOST 1/2 OF MY BUSINESS CONTACTS WHEN I "UPGRADED" (what a joke) to AOL GOLD.

    IN ADDITION TO THE FACT THAT AOL CUT OUT MANY FEATURES, MANY TIMES THE EXISTING FEATURE DON''T
    WORK, OR OR WORK WELL, OR IT IS NECESSARY TO
    RESTART TO GET THE FEATURE WORKING!

    Bring back an updated version of the PREVIOUS AOL VERSION. GOLD ****!

    Too slow for the money. Every year we have Cyber Monday/Friday etc. Amazon seems to be doing just great , Aol ( a pioneer) has really dropped the ball on 1. Customer Service and 2.Respond time 3. Common courtesy for PAYING CUSTOMERS. Like someone else said.....Is anyone listening????????

    I have been with AOL since 1990. Each and every day, AOL Gold shows itself to me as not gold, but a gold plated ****. I can no longer pay for this piece of ****. When you bring back AOL 9.2, I'll be happy to pay again. But for now? I'm blocking you from taking any more money from me.

    The best way to improve our experience with AOL Desktop Gold is to do away with it completely and go back to the old version of AOL Desktop that everyone loved and was happy with. Why did it have to change ?
    There is a saying ,"When it's not broke don't fix it" The older version was so much better than this new "Gold" , Please explain the reasoning behind the change if possible, What was the point of it ?
    It doesn't work any better , not set up as well , etc... I don't care for it , especially the mail and the way it is set up. AOL should have left a good program alone , it was fine the way it was. I loved my AOL, now it drives me nuts half the time, I could pull my hair out.
