Give back old sign in screen where you can see primary and secondary names and if either has messages.
On the old sign-in screen, you could see at a glance your primary and secondary screen names and if either had any messages. Now you only see one user name and you do not see if it has messages. And when you log into it to see if you have messages, it is a huge waste of time to have to get out of primary name and log into secondary name just to see if you have any messages there. Why would you go backwards and create a sign in screen that's not user friendly and one that purposely wastes the user's time? Makes no sense at all!

Before Gold I was able to see emails by putting cursor on "Read" mail icon on top left side. Now, that no longer works and I have to open the mail box to see what they are. Before, and now, I can see the number of emails. No problem there. However, now forced to open the mailbox where prior to Gold, one less step. Why was this changed? It seems many things in Gold have been made less efficient and many steps have been added. Please fix

I agree with 90% of the comments I am reading about Gold. I honestly think it was a step backward. I agree with signon screens, favorite lists, and don't approve of several of the news articles you list, and how hard it is to read the articles between all the ads and other "junk" that the articles seem to be sandwiched between. I hardly ever read any of the articles, other than the teaser headlines because you can never find the information.

WE NEED TO SEE ALL OF OUR AOL SCREEN NAMES ON SIGN IN SCREEN AND IF THEY HAVE MESSAGES OR NOT. THE CURRENT METHOD ONLY SHOWS ONE AT A TIME AND DOES NOT SHOW IF THEY HAVE ANY MESSAGES OR NOT. THE PREVIOUS PROGRAM ALLOWED THE AND WAS USER FRIENDLY. SOMEONE AT AOL WASN'T THINKING STRAIGHT TO CHANGE THE SIGN ON TO GOLD'S SUPER UNFRIENDLY VERSION.

I liked it better when we could switch between screen names easily.

email drop down needs to show the number of emails in each account...so you don't have to sign into each account !

get where I want to go, can't see if there's mail in other screen names without going to them - 9.8 showed all names - you really need to incorporate 9.8 with GOLD -

This new Gold mess is giving me a migraine! Charter and GMail are looking good.

Highlight or bold any accounts that have new email on the screen name tab when your changing. Now I have to go open each account to see if there is new mail. In the old system it was very clear if you had unread mail.

I am not pleased with the new desktop.

I agree...that is very frustrating. I have a work email and a personal email on AOL, and it's very annoying to have to keep signing in and out.

Still waiting to know why I have to actually close out of Gold aol, to change screen names for email. I used to be able to just click the account and switch, but now the new name comes up, but the emails are from the previous name?? Three days now. I am with the others on this NEW GOLD, Being an IMPROVEMENT is FAKE NEWS. Totally degrading the the name of AOL.

You have to click "File" and "Import Wizard" and it will transfer all your screen names; except it failed to add one of mine. Haven't figured out how to ********* the list.

Where is the arrow for favorites like desktop 9.8? Why can you hit the switch screen name function to see if you have emails in your other AOL screen names? The new desktop Gold performs better than the old 9.8 version (that is saying much) but it is a big step backwards.

So many steps for me to be able to sign on using my password. And half of the time it won't work and I have to keep on trying and trying.

What are you guys doing? I have been an AOL member for 30 years. I have had AOL Gold for several months and today 1-25-18 you shut me out of 2 of my 5 email accounts saying they were not registered last November. I have had one of these accounts for 2 years. What is going on. I can see you will loose even more customers to free accounts like gmail and yahoo.
Whoever made this decision should be fired - fast - before he/she wrecks the company.
