The Stationery feature is now available in the AOL Desktop Gold.

To customize your email with a stationery, follow these four easy steps:

1. Sign in to AOL Desktop Gold.
2. Click ‘Write’ in the upper left.
3. At the top, click the Extras menu (below the subject line) and select Stationery.
4. Browse or search through the categories on the right and choose one you’d like.

To remove your stationery background, click the Extras menu | select Remove Background.

In case you do not see the Stationery option, you will need to update the AOL Desktop Gold to the latest revision. To do that, click on the Help menu on the top, select ‘Check for Updates’, and after 10-15 minutes close and re-open the software.

    Good morning AOL Team, I would love to see capabilities to select or change the AOL Desktop Theme to an old school AOL 5.0 theme from back in the day. Not sure if this is on the road map or has been discussed, but would be a cool idea for us old school AOL users. Thanks for the consideration!

    All my friends who do not have AOl have Gif Clip Art. Can I make a request for AOL to get this clip are because it really adds zaz to the emails.

    the new mail insertion choice LOOK is annoying and gets in the way of reading mail. Why do it? Bring back animated email inserts instead.

    over a year since version 98.2 is gone and the email animations and music MADE AOL the best email of all. BRING THEM BACK. enough with amateur smiley faces.
