The Dude with the Spinning Head. The Runner with the Hair on Fire. The Smiley-face giving a Raspberry. The "Hi", Guy, the Thumbs Up, The "OK", SO many icons I can no longer get when sending an e-mail. They used to be standard. But they're gone gone gone. Very sad here. They were the ONLY reason I stayed with AOL for decades. Now they're gone. People used to ask me ALL the time. "Where do you get those cool icons?" Not any more. Now I just send boring e-mails, like the rest of the world. Too bad: that was a feature NOBODY knew about; therefore nobody used them. AOL dropped the ball on this. Folks loved those icons, and would have used AOL if they coyuld get them. But now, nobody can- becasue when you went to Gold, you dropped them.

The old AOL allowed us to cut and paste animated photos. I used this feature all the time and do not know why this has been eliminated. The animation does not transfer over. Why are AOL users paying escalating monthly fees while so many other services provide all this and more for free. I have sent this request before, but it is like talking to the wall. No response. Bring animation back to e-mail. And let us know when you do. So sick of the lack of response to requests from AOL users!

Please give us back stationery. You offer it in the FREE version of AIM but not to those of us paying for AOL. We finally got emjois back, how about more font choices. In this Idea Format, you certainly can see most AOL Gold users do NOT like it and prefer the old 9.8 AOL version to it. If we had more of the old choices and options, we'd feel we were actually getting something better for our monthy fee.

Please bring back the colorful composed email backgrounds you used to have.

The artwork features present in the old AOL mail were removed. Please restore them. I used to use them all the time.

I used to be able to copy and paste an animation from Google Images and put it in an AOL e-mail with the animation preserved. Now that can no longer be done.

One compliment -- I do like that fact that Favorites have now been alphabetized. Makes it much easier to find what I am looking for.

I have been an AOL customer for at least 20 years. Prior to AOL Gold there was a picture template feature that I would like to see offered. After many inquiries I would think the programmers would have responded more favorably.

Simply put, I would like to have what I have been paying for since the 90's. I would like to have my GOLD working with un-antiquated looking emojis that are an embarrassment to use. I would like to continue to send out GROUP emails as I have done for over 20 years. I would like the stationary available again. Either fix these things or give rebates back to all of the people who have been patiently waiting for the updates. My suggestion is to NOT do an update until MOST of the bugs have been figured out. Don't use the end users (us) as your guinea pigs to try things out and just get frustrated when they don't work. This has been a horrible experience for the past year and I'm about at my quitting point. Please, fix the mail issues (amongst many things!). Thank you so much

I am a graphic artist and mail animated graphics to customers. I can no longer do that. Animations do not go into emails as animated -- and they have a black background. Please fix this..

Please bring back AOL Mail art and animations. Also I used to be able to
copy an animation from a web site and paste it into my AOL mail. The animation would be retained on my mail. Now when I do this, no animation shows on the AOL Mail.

I used to be able to send Thanksgiving messages using Thanksgiving stationery. Now I can't cuz GOLD thinks they improved AOL by removing some of our favorite things.

I would like to be able to import my own fonts when I want to. And I would like to insert a Stationary BG into my emails. When I send a Happy Birthday email, I would like to see it look more Happy. With me choosing the Font I want and me being able to place a Birthday background in the email. Plain white background in a email is not pretty or Happy. I do a lot of Graphics and would like my emails look more decorated.

AOL Desktop needs different Theme options, for the desktop bar icons, perhaps modern theme like MSN Premium or explorer style, oops sacrilege to mention them. Currently its nice, kind of nostalgic. I'd like to be able to remove icons i don't need, and still have hard time making shortcut icons to websites.

Bring back mail animations, holiday cartoons, animal sounds like before on AOL like 98.2 used to be.
