I'm suddenly getting slammed with hundreds of spam and phishing emails. I've had over 100 today alone help. I cna't stop to unsubscribe

I'm suddenly getting slammed with hundreds of spam and phishing emails. I've had over 100 today alone help. I can't stop to unsubscribe from them all and the spam folder isn't taking them. I don't have these problems with Gmail?

    The spam in the last few weeks is overwhelming. Please allow us to use an older version if this is not fixed. And stop charging me until you do. I hate to leave AOL, but I will if you don't fix his.

    I'm having the same problem with receiving a lot of spam on a daily basis. I never used to have this problem. And now, when I click the report spam button, it takes me back to the beginning of my emails (i.e. the first email in my inbox and I have a ton. ) I then have to scroll back down to my current emails. How can I clean out my inbox when I'm having so much trouble deleting them!!!

    I am having the same problem. It seemed to appear almost overnight. My AOL spam filter has worked fine for years, then suddenly.... There was an increase in the overall number of spam sent to me and the filter is only catching a portion. I'm getting inundated throughout the day.

    Me too....and Spam Settings - Content Filter and other controls under Spam Settings don't update when new words or email addresses are added....

    NIGHTMARE SPAM!!!! Getting about 200 to 300 SPAMS in 1 day!!! What the H-LL happened? My Spam controls are set at highest!!!!! ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Tons over the past 3 weeks! I have all spam controls on highest and still getting. Changed my password and still getting.

    I really don't want a russian bride, a reverse mortgage, to meet asian women, to drop 122 lbs in 5 weeks, browse matches at no cost on eharmony, a long term loan, tax debt resolution or be reminded that USAA has detected suspicious activity (these are the spam emails I have received in the last several hours). It is beyond annoying, especially when AOL Gold is in one of its (constant) moods where it won't let you delete mail.

    yes you get obvious spam emails and the ones you might want like store ads go to spam. I also really hate not being able to see only the new mail from people I know.

    AOL GOLD techs are not only idiots, but have no idea how to fix this 'made from scratch' desperation program . When AOL was purchased by Verizon (Oath, LLC) they did not get the 9.8 program in the deal. So, now a bunch of mindless twits are scrambling and dropping the ball altogether to come up with something similar to 9.8 but it aint working. Just look at the raft of complaints in this feedback section. Worse yet, is that now they charge for this sh*t? What colossal stupidity.

    Worse still. There are at least two instances where I have never received emails that were directed to me. One included tickets that I was supposed to print out. Those emails didn't even show up in spam.

    I always permanently delete spam but still get a high number every day. As many as 35 in a day. AOL needs to add better filters. Why have us report spam if you do nothing?

    What is going on?? I almost never initiate emails from this name. Why all these spam mails in my spam folder?? Now I have to go there daily to delete. I am hating AOL more and more by the day.

    Please, please eliminate all the terrible spam emails. I get over 100 a day! Burdensome to remove each one. I have to carefully review them in case an important email gets put in the spam file in error. Some are very crude and vulgar... I am offended by them and think AOL should eliminate them, not just put them in the member's spam email file. Most of them are selling something, so perhaps they are paying AOL to be there...

    used to get 1 or per month - NOW getting 15 + per day - spam settings have not changed - also started happening with other aol subscribers i know -

    Suddenly I am getting Spam in my regular account and not in Spam account. AOL used to filter out only items from my address book. bring this
