Delete All on AOL Gold: shortcut. press 'CTRL' and 'A' at the same time and let go. all mails will be selected, then delete. ( first 1,000 can only be deleted ).
If you're seeing a second question when you delete mail. like, "are you sure you want to delete this mail or emails"? you'll need to do this on aol mail settings.
Just call aol tech people, they can help.
Also, the'res no option now for AOL to automatically delete mails in such time but emails on SPAM will be permanently deleted after 30 days.

Years ago, AOL stopped working and didn't warn you that the INCOMING SAVED EMAIL or the MAIL YOU SENT filled up and locked up AOL. I try to remember to delete them occasionally ,,
BUT - what would really help: A Delete Older Than a Given Date Option. Either one I set and leave or one I enter when I need -

Under previous versions of Mail Settings, you could have old emails deleted after 30 days. Why not have that option again?

Now it seems I must go through four steps to delete email, 2 under "new" with the "Are your sure" questions, and 2 under Recently deleted with the same question. This is ridiculous and too time consuming. Thinking you have fixed something is not, in this case a fix.

Even with the control key you still have to delete a message TWICE once you delete it, it ends up in the trash folder and you have to delete it again. NOT FAIR and very time consuming.

Not being able to highlight a group of emails to delete or move to a file is TERRIBLY inconvenient and it is IMPOSSIBLE to delete or move the hundreds that I need to delete/move when they must be deleted one at a time!!!!!!!!!!

Used to be able to Delete All. No more. I have to go to aol.mail on IE to get that feature.
