Please return to the old date format of month/day/year. Thanks.
The option to change the Date format in your mailbox is now available.
Here are the steps to change the Date format:
1. Open AOL Desktop Gold and sign in.
2. Click on the ‘Settings’ icon on the toolbar.
3. Go to the ‘Mail’ category on the left.
4. Next to ‘Date Style’ select one of the options below.
Date Only (Month/Day/Year)
Show time for mail received today
5. Changes are saved automatically, so you can close the Settings window.
In case you do not see the ‘Date Style’ option, you will need to update the AOL Desktop Gold to the latest revision. To do that, click on the Help menu on the top, select ‘Check for Updates’, and after 10-15 minutes close and re-open the software.

I like the style of my date rather than the new one.

This is a note for the mail box: AOL has changed the date style from 2 Jan 23 to Jan 23...I personally do not like it!

WHEN DID I RECEIVE THIS EMAIL? (TITLE)
Please restore the dates for the emails on the left of the email site, If I can't get on for a few days, the times or yesterday, mean nothing to me, the dates/Aug 23 would. Because of illness or vacations, the present day "yesterday" and "times,ex 8:05" in date column, are useless, dates please, Aug 23, Sept.4, etc. Thanks

@Nick Starace...Did you even read the comment below yours before you posted? The resolution was right there for you!!! This issue can be resolved by going into your mail settings. Under the "General" category, you can change the "Date Style" to "Date Only". The option for "show time for mail received today" is also there. However by choosing "Date Only", this should fix the issue. It did for me!

Dear Sir or Madam, When is AOL going to replace the dreadful mess it has made of the "Date" column. Using Time only or, Date only or, Yesterday only or, Day & Date only makes absolutely no sense. It is confusing and does not serve any purpose except to perhaps reduce AOL cost!. AOL Gold was a step forward. Revising the date format is 2 steps back.

Does AOL really not care what their PAYING customers want? I see there has not been the change back to the old format of the mail. Believe me, NO ONE wants to see yesterday or a time, we all want to see the date back to where it was. Not everyone reads their mail every day so the date is really necessary. I'd beg if it would help you change it back to the way it was.

This garbage is part of Revision 11.0.2232, how about eliminate it and bring back the OLD DATE FORMAT (PREFERRED BY US PAYING USERS) with the next scheduled revision.

AOL gave us this space to tell air our grievances, not to actually get any action. I doubt anyone but us read them. Maybe when enough people stop paying for this weird version, they will look to see why. I suspect Verizon has it's grubby hands in the mix.

Time; Yesterday; REALLY???? I was waiting to see Day before yesterday.
Whoever is making this weird changes should be fired. We old AOL users stayed with you because we liked the original format. and another thing, under FROM,
put the screen name back. I don't know Joe or Jane and have to open the e-mail to see from what company it came. -
