The option to change the Date format in your mailbox is now available.
Here are the steps to change the Date format:
1. Open AOL Desktop Gold and sign in.
2. Click on the ‘Settings’ icon on the toolbar.
3. Go to the ‘Mail’ category on the left.
4. Next to ‘Date Style’ select one of the options below.
Date Only (Month/Day/Year)
Show time for mail received today
5. Changes are saved automatically, so you can close the Settings window.
In case you do not see the ‘Date Style’ option, you will need to update the AOL Desktop Gold to the latest revision. To do that, click on the Help menu on the top, select ‘Check for Updates’, and after 10-15 minutes close and re-open the software.

No one likes the email new format. Over 100 comments and still not back to month-day-year. Why are paying customers requests unheeded??? PLEASE GIVE US THE OLD FORMAT BACK.

The new time rather than date for email that is being sent is not at all what a working format for your users. Why change to just change when it works. Makes no sense at all. **** ****

If you do not change the format of the date to Apr 17, 1019 Then give us the option to change the format of the incoming mail to the format that the customers wants. Who wants to know the time it came in, I want the format that is in this comment.

What moron decided to implement this date format on the email inbox? It's useless, confusing and ridiculous. There was nothing wrong with how it was, why use this absurd format and once again fix something that was not even broken??? Please return it to the old date format of month/day/year. I pay AOL 17.00 a month, plus now another 19.00 and also pay two other fees to you, and all I am getting for my money is trash and screwed up e mails, I am going to have someone come in and copy and retrieve all my business info and files, and then drop you completely. and go to another server. I hate AOL now

Lets go back to the old AOL, this AOL gold is horrible, and I want to return to the Month, Day and year. Actually I want to return to the AOL that was usable, easy to use, and not this messed up version, I hate AOL. It sucks, and I would never ever recommend you, I use to distribute AOL disks, for a company, I refuse to now. I now choke on the Aol name now.

I don't like the new format for the E-mail. The old format was okay. I don't need to know the time the E-mail came through. Please change back to the old format.
