"BLOCK EMAIL" made simple + easy!
PLEASE, include a "BLOCK EMAIL" option in the drop down window when an email is clicked on. Having to type in the address(es) in the current block email system is VERY tedious and they change their addresses hourly. I AM SICK-AND-TIRED of all these, "I want to have *** w/ you." emails, etc. ****! Make it easy!

Now there's a new way spammers get around blocking. I get "no-reply@***" headings for these filthy things on fammily user names. You shouldn't be allowing them to overstep any controls. I'm ready to cut the Aol cord if this keeps up.

I have been trying to block the same thing as David has spoke about and find no way to SAVE them permanently. They may stay in the Block section once or twice and I still get mail from the blocked address. When a check of the blocked address I find they have they have disappear.
The older version of AOL worked just fine. -

This has been asked for since AOL Gold came on the seen a couple of years ago. Why a company rolled out a system that was still being built is way beyond my comprehension.

I've got over 15 years of blocked addresses in my SPAM control folder.
NOW you have decided that using wildcards (*) and blocking entire domains won't be supported anymore.
Further, I can't block the new era agile address spammers who always seem to include one particular word in their addresses because you won't let us us wildcards.
THE RESULT? Now if I try and enter a new spam address you are forcing me to go back through all those SPAM addresses manually, or you won't let me add any more. This is absolutely ridiculous. P.S. Back on 3 July you said you were fixing it "soon". It is now 16 Oct. So when is "soon" on your planet? -

What change was done? It’s the same thing and mine is already full. Where’s the “Allow mail from these addresses I specify:”, so that I can totally block ALL other incoming mail. Also, the word filter block box, where did that go? “Block mail with these words”. We should have easy selections, like there was in the past, not a 3 step process that doesn’t work. Someone at AOL needs to step up and make it right, I’m ready to go some place else, your not worth paying for.

They just did this--when you get spam-open it-then right click on senders email address-it then gives the option to add to blocked list

Need some AOL USERS way of blocking the tons of wasteful unwanted mailers like the one ending with UK like a blocking mechanism with a .UK* suffix or simply clicking on sender screen name without having to enter each screen name for machine generated prefixes that change every nanosecond and normal AOL users can't keep up with!!! Tried to copy some of these sick emails sender addresses about ***, genitals, dating, etc. etc. into this email but couldn't but AOL should know who they are!!!! SO do something for long time customers that have used AOL since the beginning and can't believe what sick unwanted postings are showing up on AOL these days!!!!!!!!!! Tired of wasting an 80 year old's time everyday just trying to communicate with family and friends SO HOPE AOL DOES SOMETHING SOON TO STOP THE WASTE AND IRRITATIONS AND MAYBE CREDIT REGULAR CUSTOMERS' ACCOUNTS WITH THE HAS TO BE ENORMOUS SAVINGS FROM ELIMINATING WORTHLESS SICK INCOMING EMAILS EVERY TIME I OPEN AOL,

I'm not able to down load and files or programs? Why? I'm paying for the privilege to do so. This getting pretty sad. AOL should not have been sold to OATH. 22 years with AOL and then I have to look for something else.

Add a "BLOCK HIGHLIGHTED EMAIL" button next to the "Mail Options" button in the AOL Mail Box and it would solve a lot of headaches.

I agree wholeheartedly: AOL GOLD needs to have a simple, one click button in the MAILBOX window that directly sends any highlighted Email to the BLOCK EMAIL file-folder, rather then the 6 to 8 steps it now requires. A "Block Highlighted Email" button should be next to the "Mail Options" button. The file needs a capacity of several thousand email addresses to give us a fighting chance against SPAMMERS.

Glad to see some of the spam blocking features have returned, but there are several key words I list to block that are still getting through. Why are the filters not picking up all my listed words and phrases?
