i STARTED WITH AOL WHEN THERE WERE ABOUT 300.000 USERS IN ABOUT 1994 - 95. THIS YELLOW MAGNIFYING EMAIL BAR IS A PIECE OF S****P FOUND IN COW PASTURES. YES I GREW UP ON A FARM AND KNOW WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE AND IT WAS NOT YELLOW BACK THEN IN THE PASTURE.
WHAT IS THE REASON FOR THIS YELLOW LINE?
ARE YOU TRYING TO RUIN AOL FOR EVERYONE. WHEN THE SUBSCRIPTIONS TAKE A NOSE DIVE AND THE REVENUE TAKES A NOSE DIVE, WILL THAT GET MANAGMENT ATTENTION AND REMOVE THIS YELLOW HIGHLIGHT BAR?
UNDO THE UPDATE AND GIVE US AN OPTION TO CHOSE OR NOT TO CHOSE THIS YELLOW BAR UPDATE - JUNK. -

The new yellow orange mail highlighter/magnifier is extremely annoying. Get rid of now! Go back to the soft blue. Better yet, offer options.

The yellow highlight makes me dizzy as well. Please AOL tell us how to opt out.

April 2, 2022 Considering it's the weekend, I'm unsure much can be done, but to quote another subscriber, “The new "feature" in my email inbox that enlarges the font when I hover the mouse over an email is making me dizzy.” The jerking is also a major visual annoyance along with this horrible orange color. Please return to the Previous email format immediately! Been with Aol 25 years and pay $9.99 a month / that’s $119.88 a year for Aol Gold and still get ribbing from family and friends when I mention I still pay for email service. I love Aol, but perhaps it’s time for me to close account and move on if this issue is not resolved to subscribers satisfaction. Jo Ann Dietz

We need someone with some real clout on here to get fed up and get a story in the Wall Street Journal or Health Today OR get some publicity on this via SNL or a comic act or FoxNews (gazillion viewers). If someone gets sick from this a nice lawsuit like the McDonalds's Hot Coffee thing might do the trick. Money always talks. LOUD.

REMOVE THE YELLOW HIGHLIGHTER, I do not know why but you need to remove the yellow highlighter, not only is it distracting, it is causing flashes that are not part of my experience, I did not think I had VERTIGO but right now I am no so sure because of your highlighter

Just contacted AOL through chat and they said if I had AOL Gold I could not removed it. It is really annoying and distracting. Makes you feel dizzy. It is not on the free access AOL. Does anyone know if we can go back to the previous version of AOL?

New to recent update: when hovering over email message, it enlarges the text. This not only looks unsophisticated but causes you to inadvertently delete two email instead of the one you hover on. PLEASE REMOVE THIS FEATURE OR GIVE US AN OPTION!!

Please get rid of the ugly yellow highlight installed on 3/24! It is very annoying and makes it more difficult to read my email. I know that I am echoing others. For anyone with ADHD, this makes it even harder to focus. Even without attentional challenges, this is very disconcerting.

Re: JANE R WHEATON I am totally in agreement with her comment. I hope tomorrow when I wake up these "absolutely terrible orange highlight!" are gone. Another big mistake. As bad as the attaching My Favs to Aol search engine several days ago. I speak for all of us - stop messing with Aol or at the very least poll the subscribers opinions before making decisions for us. Been with Aol for 25 years, pay $9.99 a month and take a lot of guff for staying on Aol...but I am ready to move on! J. G. Dietz

Please, please get rid of the ugly, invasive yellow-orange highlight installed a few days ago.
It is just awful. Just tell everyone how to turn it OFF !!!!! -

Do you suppose AOL is trying to get us off their interface but stay with them for sake of keeping the email address and subscribing to them? I just cannot fathom why they do these ridiculous and unneeded changes and then ignore our voice and frustration.
