    Email is not working. They say customer support is available to paid subscribers 25/7. I call & get no answer. They say chat is not available due to corona. What about social distance requirements would be a problem with having a chat representative available. It's just an excuse for AOL's terrible service. Why am I paying $18/mo for AOL? Guess I'm stupid, but no more. Time to cancel after 35 years.

    garding addressbook.
    I attempted to make a minor change on the address of someone where the address was "dave" to just make it "Dave". However that one address change caused a number of other addresses to jump over into the name box and then have a complete blank in the address portion. I therefore requested AOL to take a recent entire address book for "*****@aol.com" and restore the entire address book with one from a few days earlier on the AOL's files.

  8. error ET-5005 Requested message or attachment has an incorect ID

    When I first sign onto AOL I get error ET-5005. "the requested message or attachment has an incorrect ID. " I get the same error when I access settings. It causes no further complications though, I can proceed as normal. I even uninstalled my AOL destop software and downloaded new software but the same message pops up.
    This is a new AOL account, I have been a beta tester on my old account for 10 years and a previous one since 1998. I did save my address book, favorites and settings from my old screen name and applied them to…

    Make it easier to switch computers and still find AOL Gold. We upgraded to new laptop with Win 10 and now AOL Gold is missing we can't figure out how to get AOL Gold on this computer.

    AOL Gold text, both email and anything using AOL interface is terrible!
    fonts are jagged, thin and basically unreadable!
    Find myself using gmail more often as the clarity of it's text is excellent.
    Please correct or you will lose another subscriber!

  17. SPAM stuck in SPAM folder

    I posted this a week ago. Got an answer to refresh my email box which I did and indicated in a response that I did. No answer; no fix. Then I posted it as a bug. No answer; no response. Still have the problem but I want some attention paid to this because it is the 3rd time it has happened. I'm tired of it happening...and having to fix it myself only to have it recur again. Clearly a problem with this Desktop Gold software, among many.

  19. How update time zone abbreviations when changing from Standard to Daylight

    Someone please advise why the time designation does not automatically change when Daylight Saving Time begins (as other systems do). AOL not changing from Standard Time abbreviation, i.e. EST to EDT. This happened last year too. The actual time seems to be correct but the abbreviation is not. (A clock is correct once a day but that is no excuse) Is there a way for me to correct? The designation appears on emails.

    Ive been getting Error: 175 - ERRSSLVERSION_INTERFERENCE for the last few weeks. I can't log onto AOL Desktop GOLD even to report it. I am able to log into Iphone's version and AOL Mail however. Whats up with this error. Ive looked all over the web and its not listed.
