It should be possible to move mail Saved on My PC from one folder to another, but it often is not.
Bring back the functionality of earlier versions. Desktop Gold does not even appear to actually save mail Saved on my PC on my PC. If it was on my PC, I wouldn't have to sign on to read it. And it wouldn't be so difficult to move mail Saved on MY PC from one folder to another. Most of the time it won't even move.
The personal filing cabinet is stored in a local database folder, which can be opened by accessing the path below in the Windows Run box (press the Windows key + R): LOCALAPPDATA\AOLDesktopData\db

***@aol.com; Hate the font in inbox. You cannot Select All when deleting emails. This whole platform sucks. I been a member since 1994. You all have * for news reporting. Hate the popups. I will not continue to pay $27.15 when I have popups ads in my feed.
To adjust the font size in the list of mail, click ""Edit"" on the top left corner of the AOL Desktop window, select ""Mail Settings"" from the drop-down menu, and from the ""Font and Text"" tab select your preferred " Font Size" from the drop-down menu (Small, Medium or Large). After selecting the Font Size the changes are saved automatically.
You can select all the emails by pressing CTRL + A.

We cannot replicate this. Restart AOL Desktop Gold and try again. If the issue still persists call us at 1-888-265-3733.

What happened to my email signatures? Why can't I add a new one? Aol Gold stops responding at least 5 times in 15 minutes. What is going on?

Bring back BCC
why isn't the BCC working like pre-GOLD, others can see, that's NOT what BCC is supposed to do!!! GOLD stinks and every day there's a new problem, unreal......
To BCC a recipient, first open an email compose window (Write) then click on the BCC button on the end of the CC field (above the subject line) and type the recipient’s email address or the group name you want to send a blind carbon copy email to.

To enable new mail notification sound go to:
Edit→ General Settings → click on Sounds tab → check the box next to You’ve got mail.

For the past few months that AOL tech's installed the new Gold on to my computer I have nothing but trouble. First it is slower than the Blu
I have the Gold Aol and it is much slower than the blue.
When I get on it takes about 20 clicks to get into my mail.

What criteria, if any, is used to sort "sent emails" ? There is no rhyme or reason to the list. Is this just another of the shortfalls

Your emails are automatically sorted by date, but you can also sort your messages by email address to whom you sent the emails and subject. If you click one of the column headings at the top of the email you will be sorting your emails according to that criteria. The column header will display an up arrow to indicate the list is being sorted in ascending order or a down arrow to indicate the list is sorted in descending order.

I seem to have issues with imbedded pictures in my mail. Whatever picture i imbed in my mail people seem to receive it blown up ( (too big)

I am not having issues viewing it through desktop gold, but when I open it through webmail (mail.aol.com) using a browser, IT IS too big! haha. Please try to fix this through an update if possible. Much appreciated!After you embed the picture right-click on it and select Resize.

You can find the minimized windows on the bottom left side of the screen. Also, if you click on the window option on the top of the desktop screen you can see under the “Reset all Window Sizes and Positions” the windows that you have opened.
Please keep in mind that if you are using the tabed browssing, in the window menu only the first tab title will come up.

Software Update
I get a message about ever other day that tells me I need to update my AOL software but I think it's up to date. Now what?
You can check if you have the latest AOL Desktop Gold version by clicking the “Help” button on the top, right corner of the window, and select " About AOL" from the drop-down menu. In the middle of the “About AOL” window, you’ll see the version you have installed.
If the version is lower than 11.0.1671, keep the AOL Desktop signed in for at least 20 minutes then close and reopen the software. The update should automatically upload. If the issue persists after updating the AOL Desktop, please contact us at 1-888-265-3733.

not receiving all the attachments in my mails
when someone sends me a mail with an amount of images larger than 100 images, the mail will show the total amount, for example 122 images in the attachment.
but when I download all, it only downloads 100 images.
and the mail only shows 100 images.Please send a report of this problem to our AOL Desktop team to have this investigated. To do that, click on the “Help” button on the top right corner of the AOL Desktop window, and select “Report a Bug” from the drop-down menu.

how do I ad picture to my my profile that will show on my comments on the news?
I see when reading the comments on the news pages that some people have pictures? I can't find where to add a picture on aol gold. Can someone tell me?
Unfortunately the option to change the profile picture on your AOL Account in the comment section is not available. The custom pictures you are seeing on other accounts in the comment section are from users signed in with social media accounts.
