I want you to know that I just cancelled my AOL plan after being a member since the early 1990's, back when AOL was pretty much the only game in town. I have endured ridicule and smirks for over a decade, but still I remained loyal. But Desktop Gold is a piece of junk, no new versions have come out since it was forced upon us all, and it is so slow that I have a hard time imagining how AOL keeps any paying customers whatsoever. I have been on AOL since the early 1990's and have had little to no problems until AOL DESKTOP Gold! It is horrible & I may leave AOL!!!

AOL FREEZING PROBLEM OBVIOUSLY NOT A PRIORITY
I submitted a complaint yesterday about an on-going problem of AOL freezing several times a day. I got a response that my complaint had been "merged" with others. I saw that the original complaint was submitted in May 2018 and it was ranked #17. Now, after more than 7 months it's ranked #27 and it's still not fixed. It appears AOL has no intention of fixing this mess called AOL Gold, What a shoddy company!!

Thank you for now allowing emojis to be used in sent emails and also for emblems/crests in letter headings to be included on emails.
Is it possible to link the fonts on word processors to fonts on sent emails? This was done on earlier versions of AOL. Commercial script and Cloister Black would be welcomed by me. -

Whoever selects the news subjects and photos needs to grow up. I am sick to death of racy, raunchy pix of celebs in scanty clothing.
Stop the racy, raunchy photos and stories about publicity-hungry celebs in suggestive clothing and stupid situations described as "jaw-dropping.". Grow up! If I wanted such garbage, I'd subscribe to the Inquirer or some other filthy publication. I DON'T want to see it every time I turn on AOL. Do you hire only low-intelligence perverts and voyeurs?

DELETING
Restore instant delete, Suddenly, you now have to confirm each and every delete. Total waste of time and really aggravating, especially if you have a number of items you want to delete. It's also unnecessary as if you delete something accidentally, you just go to 'recently deleted' and 'restore'.

The Yahoo site is awkward and incomplete. with the advent of your monthly fee, I expect service to improve, not be cut. I am using an Outlook PST file in which I can access data up to 2 GB, after which I can not save mail or anything else. I have to upgrade this by upgrading it?

When I want to save an email on my AOL Gold I have to scroll through the whole list of folders to find the one I want to save the email in.

What is wrong with with Search Mail?? I can't keep search by email address as a preference.
I always search mail by email address only. Now when I open the search for email it is set to find emails by subject only. How do I get my original preference back? Why is AOL getting worse by the day?

It is bad enough that social media users are destroying our beautiful language, but for far too long we have had to listen this provider tell us "You've got mail." First of all, "You have mail." is proper, and doesn't need the "got which is so very overused today.
