  3. Keep Portfolio Yahoo is a unusable. They run you around in circles and there is no obvious way of contacting them to correct this circus.

    Yahoo is not at all user friendly. There is no obvious way of contacting them to get out of the circle of I am not a robot . Without AOL Portfolio I have no reason to remain a user.

  4. Fix sound for web pages

    I can't hear the sound on my web pages, before I can do at any version of aol, y you want to know what kind of web pages is, here is a link for what I do, for long time. This new version of AOL Gold is very disappointed.

    I been sharing my poems for so many year in to members of AOL and non AOL members. Now I have to tell them to open the web page by Explorer, because AOL don play the music format midi.

  5. This problem with "We seem to have a problem, etc, etc, is old. I just deleted 77 of those error messages. :-(

    Fix it and don't charge any subscribers until this is fixed and all former options, like writing mail offline, background mail colours and celebrity voices, are returned. Waiting a half hour for tech support is ridiculous but that seems to be the norm with the new & improved AOL.

  7. AOL Gold stinks... absolutely

    I've had an AOL subscription for more than 20 years and have saved my read email chain going back to the earliest days of my subscription. I've moved, relatively painlessly, through various versions of AOL desktop from its beginnings. But AOL Desktop GOLD is clearly more about distributing ADS than it is about the needs or wants of AOL subscribers. About six weeks into my AOL Gold experience, the desktop quit working completely and I had to call for support to get it to allow me to sign on with any user name.   11. Spam that doesn't appear on my screen so that I can delete it!

    My screen tells me that I have 1 email in my Spam folder. When I go to the Spam folder, nothing is there. If I press "delete", the folder is not cleared out; if I have a 2nd piece of Spam, I press "delete all" but the phantom Spam message does not go away. The old AOL software was good; why did we have to change to something that is not configured as well as what we had? I've never had this problem before...and I want it to go away!

    this sequence does not work:
    Use the Browser Password Manager as a secure and easy way to manage your online passwords and credentials.

    Enable or disable the Password Manager
    1. Log in to AOL Desktop Gold.
    2. Click the Settings icon Image of the Settings icon. .
    3. Click the Browser option on the left-side of the window.
    4. Click the Passwords tab.
    5. Select 'Offer to save passwords I enter on the web'.
    6. Exit out of the Settings window.
    Tip icon.To disable the Password Manager, follow the same steps as above but de-select the box next to 'Offer…

  18. just sent 3 more emails from my phone did not receive a one

    nothing in spam wanted to save pics of my sons graduation to my pc, but looks like aol is screwing with mail again... made a purchase on ebay last night no email confirming payment, no receipt, requested money be sent to my paypal at 1 am... Never got that email! Requested support from a website 2 days ago never got the instant automated email, no idea if anyone even attempted to assist me, because if they replied to my ticket I NEVER GOT IT!
