I have blocked all pop-ups, not working, now it's called "advertisements" so the tech support says it's the program and you can't do that. The pop-up/advertisements are so bad it's hard to read what you want to. They need a fix ??????????

GET ALL AD POP UPS STOPPED WE ARE NOW PAYING FOR THE SERVICE NOT TO BE LAM BASTED WITH ADVERTIZING POP UPS !!!!!

As noted above, the ads are just too much. Even with pop ups blocked ... they are allowed thru which has been aggravating enough but now some have no option to "X out" of them and content is partially covered. When that happens, I immediately completely close out of AOL. If no ability to stop this is forthcoming, we will be changing providers very soon.

I have been with AOL for 20 years and I am now forced to pay for AOL Gold and I am going to dump AOL if you do not get rid of the advertising on the right side of my email screen, and if you do not update your AOL Gold software so that I can dictate email with my voice recognition software (Dragon) – all of which was fine with my former AOL desktop. Please contact me immediately.

The Louder than normal Metro Detroit Chrysler ad can't be stopped. Why not? Why shouold I ahve to watch 30 seconds of an ad I detest.

Stop the annoying popup ads that restart after closing or won't shutoff or even mute! I can't believe I keep paying you people for this annoyance! AOL Gold is ****! I hate the new download drop down too!

Gold is a step backward. It doesn't even provide reliable email service. My "old mail" queue has three entries for 2018 and a ton from 2013! And there's nothing in between. 2013? Where did they come from?

I am a long-time AOL account holder - 20+ years. I now pay for AOL Gold. As a paying member, I do NOT want to be befuddled by pop-up ad videos the moment I sign on - and then scramble to shut the videos down. I will never look at nor listen to them. This is a distraction and bad customer policy that needs to be reverted.

Don;t allow any more commercials that cannot be "turned off". The Detroit Chrysler/Dodge Commercial blares sound that can't be shut off and is very annoying.

I am tired of trying to view features that are covered with ads...not only from the top, but from the bottom. I will NOT continue with this service. Just tell me who to contact to make sure that I am not billed after this trial period ends. You failed the trial period. I won't pay to fight ads covering what I want to read.

Enough of the NEXT articles. Show us the story like the old days.
AOL was really good a long time ago. If it were not for the mail (my address) I would have left a long time ago. Option is still there to just go to hot or g mail. Fire the guy who thought of the NEXT.... we don't read the advertisements anyway. The way you have it now cuts back on many articles I would like to read but don't want the hassle.
I have been on your books for 22 years now.....up to you. -

I was on the phone with a tech for 3 hours trying to restore file folders that save customer emails. Forcing GOLD on me caused this. Can you hire techs that speak good english? I bet there are some Dumb S__t VP's making big bonuses at AOL that think we'll all settle down over forcing gold on us. Not me, I've been too p___d off too long over big business AOL. I'm leaving and take my $480 per year charges with me.
