Give back old sign in screen where you can see primary and secondary names and if either has messages.
On the old sign-in screen, you could see at a glance your primary and secondary screen names and if either had any messages. Now you only see one user name and you do not see if it has messages. And when you log into it to see if you have messages, it is a huge waste of time to have to get out of primary name and log into secondary name just to see if you have any messages there. Why would you go backwards and create a sign in screen that's not user friendly and one that purposely wastes the user's time? Makes no sense at all!

Before Gold, one could check a drop down menu with all of your email accounts to see if there was mail accumulating to check. One could then sign on to other email account if one wanted. Now, with "Gold" one has to sign out and in each time to see if there is any new mail, a waste of time. Return to the drop down menu. Far more convenient. Another "improvement" that stinks, like so many AOL changes!!!!

Switching screen names and signing on to Aol is totally inconvenitnt. To switch: 1-click sign off, 2-click switch user, 3- click drop down menu, 4-click screen name, 5-click next to confirm screen name, 6-type in password, 7-click Sign-In. It is as if you don't wany anyone go to the trouble of signing in and to use the software version.

I am not able to see multiple email accounts at one time. I have to log out of one, and then log into the other. This is too time consuming for my needs.

I don't know which version brought back the reason I use AOL in the first place (I check periodically and my current version is 11.0.1928) but THANK YOU! Now if only we could see if there was mail in other boxes *before* switching user names, that'd be just GREAT!!!

In the last AOL when I would go to switch to my other AOL I could just click Sign Off on the top bar, then it would show my other AOL names and how many emails each had. If I didn't have any since the day before I could just stay where I was. Now I have to fully sign on to the other name, let it load to find out there aren't any new emails. Then do it all in reverse. Why make things harder when you had it good.

When will the change be implemented so that we can log in as in the past, being able to see all of our user names and if any have email and how much? This is ridiculous! It is taking forever. This is the ONLY reason I am paying for AOL...so I don't have to switch from one to the other to check on email. I would have to do that with the free account but until you make the change, I have had to keep doing that on this paid version. You need to be honest and state the truth--when will this happen? Will it EVER happen?

Do you realize how many steps it takes just to go from one screen name to another to see if any mail has come in when all we used to do was click a drop down menu under Sign Off?

Well it's been planned for almost 6 months now...When does it get fixed? Answer from AOL,
"Oh wait, 6 months from now we'll start working on it!" -

Signing off from one account to another, just to read emails, is one big pain in the butt. Switch user name takes over 10 minutes today to do just that, switch to other user, which happens to be me! Two different email accounts is all it is. Computer freezes since "Not Responding" is the messages that pops up....so on to Task Manager to close program. Wait for 5 minutes, try to sign back on, but will sign in on account trying to close and move on to secondary account and right back to square one! A real PITA! and no solution offered from bug reported except, merged with other similar reports!

Please put the number of emails that each email account has in it back in the sign on screen like it was before. Why was it removed ???

Please so do not "group this with something similar". That seems to be the tactic AOL Gold people are using to bury these important issues away and not fix them. This issue is SO BASIC for AOL users and is being totally ignored.

so we do not have to keep logging off one user name and signing on to the other just to see if there are emails there. This was suggested months ago when all this started and it was promised to be changed a long time ago and NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE!! When will this be done??

1. AOL used to have drop down feature for users with multiple screen names, indicating number of emails. Now I have to sign in for every individual screen name in order to check if I had received new emails. CAN YOU BRING THAT FEATURE BACK PLEASE?
2. The Favorites lists Favorite Places in "alphabetical order." Previous versions of AOL allowed one to move those favorites into an order that made the most sense to the User. Could you bring back that option please, as alphabetical order much of the time isn't representative of the way in which many people would organize. Thank you. -

User Names Listing
To determine if I have an email for my 6 user names, I must click on each user name individually. AOL 9.8.2 listed all user names at one time. It is very inconvenient and time consuming to click 6 times to check my email. This is a step backward in technology. Please fix by bringing back the user name listings as were in AOL 9.8.2.

For people with multiple Screen Names, it would be nice to have a place to click (in any of your Screen Names) to see how many (if any) emails there are in each Screen Name. As it is now, you have to individually open each and every Screen Name to check and see if there are any emails there. This is unnecessarily burdensome. I have some Screen Names that only one contact has so I may not get a mail in that name for weeks but I have to open it every day to check. Can you fix this???
