For years we've asked for more Fonts. Before AOL Gold that we pay for, we had lots of fonts to choose from. Emailbackgrounds.com has a long list of fonts that can be used when writing emails but it requires you to not just "paste" your background to the AOL email form so your Address Book doesn't work outside of the AOL form to suggest the addresses. I've read all the suggestions (including several of mine!) posted on this same topic for YEARS. AOL, why won't you LISTEN to your PAYING customers and GIVE US MORE FONTS??? Please address this issue and provide us with the old selection of many choices of fonts again. Thank you.

There were many more fonts before AOL. gold. Why did we lose them? Why did we lose the Buddy List? There's always something going wrong with Gold. Bring back the previous version. I think it was 9.8.6. Gold has some good features, but for the life of me, I can't see where it's better than the 9.8 versions.

Are you going to add back all the fonts that were available before the AOL Gold update? The selection now is so limited and inferior to what I had before.

My favorite was the "Dude with the Spinning Head". But the stick figure, "Runner with Hair on Fire" was great too, The "Hi", with the guy waving his hand, the "Angry", with the red-faced guy (I could add the "%@*#!" symbols to it). They were able to be saved in Favorites, and many people (even AOL users!) envied my e-mails, and asked me to show them how to get them.
They were the main reason I stayed with AOL. Now they're gone. Waaaah. Sad Face. Bring them back PLEASE!

emojis in Aol desktop gold is in black and white.please get back the skin color to yellow.

I use to really enjoy sending my emails. I could place a Pretty email Stationary and choose the fone I wanted. Now the Email background is JUST white and I am stuck with using the Fonts you have allowed. Emailing use to be creative and Fun, now it is just so plain. Can you fix this? Let us the Consumer choose how we want our emails to look. Other than that, I love my AOL Beta Gold.

Add Emoticons and Reading emails from the recipient in AOL Desktop Gold

The old aol had sets of pictures, sayings and fonts one could add to an email. PLEASE BRING BACK THAT FEATURE. Now there are only the, mostly expressionless emojis..
Aol Gold is nowhere near as good as the old aol.

ARE we working on getting us more options on FONTS?

I love some of the improvements I've seen so far, Sounds, Back themes, toolbar colorful, how about giving us more fonts for our Emails Signature, your doing great keep the updates coming,, it be nice to have options about our fonts,,

The Calibri font, which was EXCELLENT for email -- the leading between lines was better than most other fonts, shape of characters renders clearly, and messages are much easier to read. It was a STANDARD font for many people but was taken away when forced to convert to AOL Desktop Gold. Please provide what was a useful, clear, easy-to-read font for EMAIL. There are hundreds of people who pay you and do Graphics with Graphics Software, like PhotoShop or Corel PSP.. I am one of them. I have to have MORE Fonts & BG's when sending my Graphics. I know of many Graphic Groups who are leaving AOL because they can't choose their own fonts. I also know many who won't go to AOL Gold or Beta because of this. It seems like such a easy request for you to give us. I have been with you since the day you started and use Photo Shop, Animation Shop and PSP. I have always been happy with you and have no problem paying you. But I am thinking about changing to another service. I hate to change, but I must have more Fonts and the ability to add my own made BG's to my emails. Thank you for putting the issue 1st.. My Graphic Group is talking about moving to Google. I do not want to leave you.

Everyone else has animated, fun emojis and clip art for email. When do we get ours back? AOL used to be the leader in the most creative email.

Have the colored emoji available in Aol Gold. It is only available in Webmail which is not convenient because I use Aol Gold

Bring back our choices of using different fonts in our emails like the old versions of AOL allowed instead of the limited ones that are offered now. We should be able to personalize our email....and what happened to all of different styles of emotion faces. It seems every way of individual personalization has been removed!!!
